This is Bulog Dos Island, in Coron, Philippines and it has the most stunning sandbar ❤️ Exploring the limestone rocks and snorkeling through the coral gardens was the highlight of my day. 🏝️✨

"Bulog" means "bald" in the local dialect and refers to the island’s treeless hills (at times of the year). It’s a secret spot for snorkeling - the reef here is part of a protected area, so the coral is incredibly vibrant and full of life. 🐠
Truly one of the most serene spots 🇵🇭🛶

Private Paradise at Kayangan Lake! ❤️🇵🇭✨

We got so lucky today at Kayangan Lake on Coron Island! When we arrived, there were about 20 people there, but they all left within 5 minutes. We were lucky enough to have the entire lake to ourselves for almost an hour! The water is incredibly crystal clear! In fact, it’s known for being the cleanest in the Philippines.

We spent the time snorkeling through the "moonscape" rock formations and even swam into the small, hidden cave (Awuyuk Cave) tucked into the limestone walls at the side. Truly spectacular!

The lake is sacred to the indigenous Tagbanwa people. They are the guardians of the land and only opened it to the public in 2001.

This is my fourth time visiting Kayangan Lake on Coron Island and it still hasn't lost its magic. 🇵🇭

Bulalacao Island, Coron, Philippines ❤ Quiet turquoise water, soft sand, and the gentlest sea breeze. We spent the afternoon kayaking along the shore and soaking in the beauty of this little paradise. Truly peaceful. 🕊️

SNATCHERS, the sci-fi comedy indie film I worked on with the wonderful director John Kingman, is now available on Amazon Prime to rent or buy!

It’s a wild ride — a meteor crash unleashes alien spores disguised as purple corn, spreading into Brooklyn through a farm-to-food-truck chain. A trust funder, a rogue FDA agent, a Mennonite farmer, and a food-truck couple team up to stop the bizarre invasion.

If you’re in the mood for something quirky and fun, give it a watch!

Beit She’an — once called Scythopolis — is one of the best-preserved Roman cities in Israel and part of the ancient Decapolis. It absolutely blew me away!

First settled over 5,000 years ago, it later thrived under the Greeks and Romans thanks to its prime spot between the Jezreel and Jordan Valleys.

Its grand Roman theatre seated about 7,000 people, hosting plays and public events nearly two millennia ago. You can still wander its colonnaded streets, see the bathhouses, temples, and mosaics, and climb the ancient tel overlooking the ruins.

A massive earthquake in 749 CE brought the city to an end, but what remains is nothing short of spectacular — one of the most awe-inspiring archaeological sites in the Middle East. ❤️

Beautiful days by the Sea of Galilee 🌅
Swimming surrounded by fish, and walking along a sandy shore that at first looks covered in tiny pebbles — but a closer look reveals countless tiny seashells (mollusks). Fascinating!

This “Sea” of Galilee is actually a freshwater lake — and the lowest freshwater lake on Earth, sitting about 210 meters below sea level. This body of water has witnessed many moments in history — from the ministry of Jesus, who walked on its waters, to ancient fishing villages like Capernaum and Magdala along its shores.

A place of peace, beauty and many Biblical stories. ❤️

Happy James Bond Day! 🎉❤️
October 5th marks the anniversary of the premiere of Dr. No (1962) — the day 007 first graced the silver screen. To mark this day, here’s a fun interview with The Bond Experience, where host David Zaritsky and I chat all things Bond:

✨ Hand-made treasures in Navarrenx ✨
Unique jewelry by Nathalie Saint-Maxent beautifully crafted right here in Navarrenx, France. I love taking photos with photographer Olivier Robinet — nothing is ever planned, yet within five minutes he sets it all up and we have beautiful shots.

Whenever I’m in Navarrenx, I stop by Nathalie’s shop to see her new pieces. Each one is original, creative, and very reasonably priced — a true gem in Navarrenx. 💍

Exploring the ramparts of Navarrenx, the first bastioned town in France 🏰. The fortifications, built in the 1500s, still stand strong today — almost completely intact after nearly five centuries. Entering through the Saint-Antoine Gate, you’re greeted by statues symbolizing the pilgrims and merchants who once passed through this crossroads of the Béarn. Just beyond lies the bridge over the Gave d’Oloron, first mentioned in 1188 and rebuilt in stone in 1289 — one of the oldest crossings in the region.

My family lived here for six generations, so walking these walls and streets feels like retracing the footsteps of my grandfaher (Raymond Grant de Longueuil) and ancestors who once called Navarrenx home. ❤ Exploring this wonderful historic town is a lot of fun — and it still feels like home to me!

🌊 Our family has been swimming in the river at Navarrenx, France—known locally as the Gave (the Gave d’Oloron)—for over 120 years! That’s six generations who’ve enjoyed these waters, keeping the tradition alive across time. ❤️🇫🇷
