IRANUN ISLAMIC EDUCATORS UNITE BEHIND UBJP TO ADVANCE THE BANGSAMORO STRUGGLE IN THE FIRST BARMM PARLIAMENTARY ELECTION

Matanog, Maguindanao del Norte — On September 7, ulama, asatidz, and community leaders gathered at Jamiat Iranun, Bayanga Norte, Matanog, for the Iranun Islamic Educators General Assembly, a forum dedicated to strengthening faith, nurturing education, empowering and guiding the Iranun people in the light of Islam.

One of the highlights was the presentation of the Bangsamoro Electoral Code on behalf of Sheikh Ibrahim D. Ali, nominee of the United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP). The discussion aimed not only to explain the law but also to prepare the community for the upcoming first parliamentary elections in the Bangsamoro, encouraging civic responsibility and informed participation.

The assembly also reflected on the journey that led to this historic moment, recalling the sacrifices that established the Bangsamoro Government, the signing of the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro in 2014, and the ratification of the Bangsamoro Organic Law in 2019. Participants affirmed that these milestones remain living reminders of the people’s struggle, faith, and unity as they move forward in shaping their future.

As members and supporters of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (M**F) through the United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP), the people themselves now stand as the true candidates—entrusted with the responsibility to carry forward the struggle, safeguard the gains of peace, and ensure that their voices shape the destiny of the Bangsamoro.

CAMP DARAPANAN (6 September 2025/14 Rabi Al-Awwal 1447 AH) — Moro Islamic Liberation Front Central Committee (M**F-CC) Chairman, and United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) President Al Haj Murad Ebrahim welcomed today the courtesy visit of the 102nd Base Command of the Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces (BIAF) from Lanao del Sur and Lanao del Norte.

During the visit, BIAF officials reaffirmed their unwavering support to Chairman Murad’s leadership, sealing it with a solemn bay-a (pledge of allegiance) that echoed the very spirit of their struggle.

The gathering stood as a powerful testament to the unity of the BIAF commands under the M**F, upholding their revolutionary resolve to defend the Bangsamoro cause while advancing the path toward peace, justice, and self-determination.

This is to inform members of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (M**F) and the public that there has been no formal communication with the M**F leadership on the conduct of a Voters’ Education for the Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces (BIAF) as of this writing.

As Commander-in-Chief and highest-ranking official of the M**F, I would support any coordinated endeavor involving our military arm to ensure a peaceful, honest and orderly 2025 Parliamentary Election to be conducted in Camp Darapanan, which is the official headquarters of our BIAF.

I urge our members and the Bangsamoro people to be vigilant in sharing information to avoid confusion among our ranks and organization.
