On October 7, Congressman Shimura’s team extended aid to additional barangays and sitios in the Municipality of Medellin, reaching over 1,000 families in need of assistance.

Among the beneficiaries were:

325 families in Sitio Cansanit and 250 families in Sitio Proper, Brgy. Don Virgilio Gonzales

115 families in Sitio Tunga, Brgy. Caputatan Norte

99 families in Purok Rosas, Brgy. Lamintak Norte

175 families in Sitio Curvada, Brgy. Dayhagon

100 families in Sitio Common, Brgy. Daanlungsod

Congressman Sun Shimura Delivers Swift Aid to Earthquake-Affected LGUs in the Fourth District.

In response to the magnitude 6.9 earthquake that struck the Fourth District, Congressman Sun Shimura has been tirelessly visiting every corner of affected barangays while ensuring direct delivery of essential aid to local government units (LGUs) for their impacted residents.

On October 6, Congressman Shimura’s team provided 120 sacks of rice to the Municipality of Tabuelan, 100 packs of bottled water to the Municipality of San Remigio, and 100 packs of bottled water along with 50 sacks of rice to the Municipality of Daanbantayan, addressing the immediate needs of affected communities.

The day prior, on October 5, over 600 packs of bottled water and 120 sacks of rice were delivered to Bogo City, reinforcing relief efforts for residents grappling with the quake’s aftermath.
Earlier, on October 3, the municipalities of Tabogon and Medellin each received 50 sacks of rice, ensuring timely support to their affected populations.
