This year hasnβt been easy, especially for kuya Michael. Itβs never simple to move on and find a new partner β weβve seen his frustration and doubts, not only because of the pressure of the competition, but also because he never wanted to break the trust and love of all his supporters. There were moments when Michael even doubted himself, knowing that this will be his last chance to dance for Palaro. His former partner, our very own Ate Aliyah, who has been undefeated in our province, has already graduated.
On the other hand, Ate Laeyrra also faced her own challenges. She started her DanceSports journey just last year and had a partner then, but he transferred to another sport. Thatβs why we know that Laeyrra also had her own difficulties adjusting to a new partner.
Still, she bravely stepped up and accepted the challenge, knowing she had big shoes to fill. We are beyond grateful for her courage, determination, and heart.
Whatever happens, we will cheer for you and always have your back, Kuya Michael and Ate Laeyrra! β€οΈ
Even before the competition begins, please know β we are already so proud of you both.
