That’s on me—I thought today was a tempo session, so I used my daily trainer/tempo shoes. Overall, the workout was still good, but I had to put in extra effort.”

Today was supposed to be a full ride from Dagupan to Baguio vise versa for recovery, but plans changed.

Had to cut it short because one of our teammates had bike issues. Still managed to finish a century ride, but at a more relaxed pace.

At the end of the day, it’s not just about distance or speed. You don’t leave a teammate behind when they’re struggling.

Ride strong, but ride with heart. 🚴‍♂️

I’m 45… turning 46 in a few months.

Sometimes I ask myself - until when can I keep doing this? Lifting weights, running, biking… all while handling daily responsibilities.

Then I realize… I don’t need an answer.

As long as my family and my students need me, I’ll keep showing up.

I’m not here to prove anything to anyone.

I’m doing this to stay strong - mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Because strength isn’t just about performance… it’s about being present for the people who matter.
