As a mother of a child with Down syndrome, I speak from a place of deep love and truth: Never mock, judge, or look down on people with determination. They didn’t ask to be born different — yet they face life with courage, joy, and a light that inspires. They may have an extra chromosome, but they also has an extraordinary heart.
To those of us considered 'normal' — let’s remember: we are not above them. If anything, we have more to learn from their resilience, purity, and unconditional love. Let’s stop the judgment and start giving more love, more respect, and more compassion.
They don’t need your pity — they need your understanding. 💙
