MGA NARARAMDAMANG LINDOL SA BANSA, NADAGDAGAN

EARTHQUAKE MONITORING: Nadagdagan pa ang mga lindol na nararamdaman sa bansa matapos tumama ang isang Magnitude 5.8 na lindol sa City of Bogo, Cebu kaninang ala-1:06 ng madaling araw ng Lunes, Oktubre 13, 2025.

Bagamat sunod-sunod ang mga lindol na naitatala sa bansa, walang kaugnayan ang mga lindol sa isa't isa dahil iba't ibang mga faultlines at trenches ang dahilan ng mga pagyanig na ito, ayon sa PHIVOLCS. Nananatili namang naka-alerto at naka-monitor ang ahensyasa mga pagyanig sa bansa.

The Earth is Breathing.

Lately, the series of earthquakes has brought fear and unease to many. People talk about aftershocks, worry about what comes next.
And with all the false information online-
some spreading more fear than knowledge,
some claiming the end of the world- it’s easy to feel lost and anxious.

But maybe, if we can all just pause for a moment, we’ll remember that this is simply the Earth… moving, adjusting, breathing.

She’s been alive long before we were born. Shifting her crust, releasing her tension,
reshaping mountains and oceans quietly through time. Every quake, every rumble beneath our feet is her way of reminding us that she’s still here that she too needs space to move, to stretch, to let go.

Yet we, humans, often forget. We live fast, always building, rushing, chasing the next thing. We rarely stop to listen to the pulse beneath the ground, to the slow heartbeat of the planet that carries us.

I still remember my science teacher in elementary saying, “Earthquakes happen every day. It’s a sign that the Earth is alive.”
And she was right.

Earthquakes have always been here, every day, everywhere. Most are so small we never feel them. But they remind us of something powerful: that we are just tiny creatures standing on something vast and alive.

So maybe, instead of fear, we can also feel awe- a deep, humbling gratitude
for being part of this living planet’s story.

She’s not angry. She’s not punishing us.
She’s simply moving, as she always has,
breathing under our feet.
