Attention: Fun Run for WASH Participants 📢🏃👟

Due to uncertain weather conditions tomorrow and the possibility of rain, we will have a change of venue. Instead of the Boulevard, the start and finish line will now be at the Municipal Gymnasium, Sta. Monica.

Singlet and Race Bib: You may claim them tomorrow at the venue. All registered participants are included. However, please note that some may not receive a race bib due to limited slots. Everyone will receive a race pin, certificate, hot meals and there will also be giveaways.

See you tomorrow at 4:00 AM, November 15, 2025 (Saturday) at the Municipal Gymnasium, Sta. Monica. Please be reminded that if a registered participant is unable to attend, their singlet may be given to others.

Participants are welcome to join even without prior registration. Please wear a white shirt. We invite you to be part of our WASH advocacy here in Siargao.

Registration will be open from 4:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the venue.

📣 Announcement: Run4WASH Siargao 🏃💧

Thank you to everyone who registered for Run4WASH! Due to the overwhelming number of participants, some may no longer receive a FREE singlet. But don't worry - everyone is still welcome to join the event! 🩵

If you're unable to get a singlet, you may wear a white shirt and join us in our advocacy for climate-resilient Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) here in Siargao.

REMINDER: Singlets and race kits will be distributed at the venue before the run starts. Participants who registered online but fail to arrive before the gun start may have their kits given to others.

We'll also have fun games, special tokens, and a free photo booth for everyone who joins the 1st WASH Summit - Run4WASH!

🌧️ OFFICIAL NOTICE OF POSTPONEMENT 🌧️
1st WASH Summit and Fun Run 2025

We regret to inform everyone that the 1st WASH Summit and Fun Run for WASH, originally scheduled on November 7–8, 2025, has been postponed due to the ongoing effects of Typhoon Tino and the impending threat of Typhoon Uwan.

⚠️ The safety and well-being of all participants, guests, staff, and partner organizations remain our top priority. After consultations with local authorities and LDRRMOs, we have decided that postponing the events is the most responsible course of action.

💧 We truly appreciate the effort, excitement, and support of everyone who prepared for this meaningful event in promoting Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) initiatives in our community.

📅 Good news!
The WASH Summit and Fun Run will be rescheduled to November 14–15, 2025
📍 at the same venue (Sta. Monica, Surigao del Norte)

Although the official submission for the Global Handwashing Contest is now closed, we recognize the hard work and creativity of other schools who also prepared entries.🙌

📝The deadline for submissions is October 30, 2025. If your school has prepared a photo or video entry and would like to be acknowledged, we warmly invite you to share your work with us for possible publication and recognition.
