PrimeWater is considering pipeline rehabilitation and exploring alternative water sources to address Daraga's longstanding water supply problems. Mayor Victor Perete, after meeting with PrimeWater officials, noted that the company has reported ongoing pipeline repairs across all barangays, but progress has been delayed due to contractor issues. PrimeWater, owned by Prime Asset Ventures Inc. led by Manuel Paolo Villar, has yet to provide a concrete solution. Frustration remains among residents over unreliable water service. Perete plans to meet with the Daraga Water District's board next week to discuss further actions to resolve the issue.
