Ipinamalas ng mga DuScians ang kanilang husay sa musika matapos dominahin ang kategoryang Likhawitan sa Regional Festival of Talents (RFOT) 2026 na ginanap sa City Central School noong Marso 26 at 27.

Nasungkit ng koponan ng Dumaguete ang mga pangunahing parangal kabilang ang Best Song Composition, Best Song Interpretation at Best Musical Arrangement.

Samantala, naiuwi rin ng Negros Oriental ang Best Lyrics at Best Foreign Language Showcase.

Sa kabuuang ranggo, nanguna ang Dumaguete City bilang kampeon na sinundan ng Negros Oriental sa ikalawang ranggo, Bacolod City sa ikatlo at Sagay City sa ikaapat.

Binubuo ng kampeong koponan ng mga natatanging DuScians na sina Mhoirra Mishelle Pino, Josh Matthew Magallanes, Mary Rose Abrasaldo at Jubie Jane Gramatica, sa gabay ng kanilang mga coach na sina Mrs. Toni Rose Sayson at Mr. Eric Piรฑero.

Opisyal nang kakatawan ang koponan ng Dumaguete sa National Festival of Talents (NFOT) 2026. Bitbit ang temang "Embracing Change, Redefining Excellence," nakatakdang idaos ang pambansang kompetisyon sa Roxas City, Western Visayas, mula Abril 16 hanggang 22.

DuScian achievers shine in poomsae, chess at the NIRAAM 2026

Student-achievers from Ramon Teves Pastor Memorialโ€“Dumaguete Science High School (RTPMโ€“DSHS) continued to make their mark in diverse sporting events as they delivered commendable performances in the Negros Island Regional Athletic Association Meet (NIRAAM) 2026, held from February 27 to March 6 in Bacolod City.

The DuScian representatives showcased their versatility and discipline in both martial arts and mind sports, earning podium finishes.

Dhenise Mikaelah B. Tinapay secured 2nd Place in Taekwondo โ€“ Poomsae Category.

Meanwhile, Edrian B. Torres delivered a strong showing in chess, claiming 3rd Place in Individual Rapid Secondary Boys Chess.

The school community continues to celebrate and support its athletes, whose dedication brings pride and recognition to the institution on the regional stage.

DuScian athletes make waves at NIRAAM 2026

Student-athletes from Ramon Teves Pastor Memorial-Dumaguete Science High School (RTPM-DSHS) once again proved their competitive edge as they delivered a remarkable performance at the Negros Island Regional Athletic Association Meet (NIRAAM) 2026, held from February 27-March 6 at Bacolod City.

Their campaign was bannered by a strong showing in swimming events, where DuScian representatives consistently reached the podium across both individual and relay categories, reflecting depth and discipline in the teamโ€™s preparation.

Campus journalists of the DuScian Gateway, representing the Division of Dumaguete, delivered an outstanding performance at the recently concluded Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) held at Talisay City last March 15-17, garnering multiple awards and securing Second Place in the Secondary category and Third Overall among participating divisions.

Guided by school paper advisers Ms. Patricia Patron and Mrs. Aina Pino, the DuScian delegation triumphed over 22 competing schools division across the Negros Island Region.

The team showcased excellence in various individual and group categories, ultimately earning a spot in the upcoming National Schools Press Conference (NSPC).
