"From the greatest things that harm the person is 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄. The soul will never sit idly; rather, the soul will either busy itself with what 𝐁𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐅𝐈𝐓𝐒 it or what 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐒 it. This is inevitable."

The Prophet ﷺ said: “There are two blessings which many people do not make the most of and thus lose out: good health and 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 6412.

Some of the scholars said, "Every sin is usually hidden by the sinner, except for the 𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗨𝗘—this sin is committed in front of the people."

It is easy to fall into sin by the way of the tongue, and this will be a reason for many people being thrown upon their faces in the Hellfire, 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗹𝘆.

Thus, the tongue is very dangerous.

"Anybody who believes in Allah and the Last Day should not harm his neighbor, and anybody who believes in Allah and the Last Day should entertain his guest generously and anybody who believes in Allah and the Last Day should 𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗞 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗦 𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗢𝗥 𝗞𝗘𝗘𝗣 𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗘𝗧. (i.e. abstain from all kinds of evil and dirty talk)."

Ali bin Sahl (rahimahumullah) said, "The 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧 and the 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗦 are in regular contest; 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦 is the companion of the intellect, but 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘 is the companion of desires, and the soul stands between them."

The people of the hellfire had their desires overpowered their restraint and they got destroyed.
