Arrest of the Top 8 Most Wanted Person in Cotabato City

At around 6:30 AM on September 1, 2025, operatives of the Cotabato City Police Office
served a Warrant of Arrest against the Top 8 Most Wanted Person (City Level) of Cotabato City.

The suspect has a standing warrant of arrest for the Violation of Sec. 28 (E)(1) in relation to Sec. 28 (A) of R.A. 10591 (Comprehensive Fi****ms and Ammunition Regulation Act).

The arrested individual is now under police custody and will be turned over to the court of origin for proper disposition.

The Police Regional Office of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region under the leadership of PBGEN JAYSEN C DEGUZMAN, RD, PRO BAR reaffirms its commitment to intensify the campaign against criminality and ensure that wanted persons are brought to justice in the interest of public safety and peace in the community.

1.6 Million worth of shabu, confiscated in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte

On September 1, 2025, at around 4:30 PM, joint operatives of Maguindanao del Norte, led by Datu Odin Sinsuat Municipal Police Station, successfully conducted a buy-bust operation at Sitio Ampatuan, Barangay Bongued, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte. That resulted in the arrest of High-Value Individuals involved in illegal drug activities.

Seized from their possession were the following:

Approximately 240 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of PhP 1,632,000.00;
One (1) M16 A1 rifle;
One (1) M14 rifle; and
Two (2) G***k 9mm magazines.

The arrested suspects, together with the confiscated evidence, were brought to Datu Odin Sinsuat MPS for documentation and proper disposition in accordance with the law.

Highlighting that this successful operation demonstrates the firm commitment of PRO BAR to intensify the campaign against illegal drugs and criminality, ensuring peace and order in the Bangsamoro community.

Top 10 MWP (Regional Level) and Top 1 (City Level) Nabbed in Cotabato Airport

Datu Odin Sinsuat – In line with the relentless efforts of PRO BAR against wanted persons under LOI 03/11 Manhunt Charlie, the top 1 most wanted person (MWP) at the city level and currently the Top 10 at the regional level was successfully arrested during a law enforcement operation conducted on September 1, 2025, at Cotabato Airport, Barangay Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte.

The accused has standing Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Annabelle D.P. Piang, Acting Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, 12th Judicial Region, Branch 13, Cotabato City, for violation of Presidential Decree 1866 as amended by R.A. 8294 and R.A. 9516 (Illegal Possession, Manufacture, and Acquisition of Fi****ms, Ammunition, or Explosives).

The operation was jointly carried out by the PNP PRO BAR personnel and other government operating units.”

PBGEN JAYSEN DE GUZMAN, Regional Director commended the operating teams for their sustained efforts in tracking down wanted personalities, reiterating that the arrest reflects PRO BAR’s commitment to ensuring public safety and bringing law offenders to justice.
