The Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Agrarian Reform-Datu Salibo together with PhilMech team conducted site validation and inspection of possible installation of Rice mill warehouse of Datu Salibo BCN Chapter 143 Farmers And Fisherfolks Producer Cooperative located at Barangay Sambolawan, Datu Salibo, Maguindanao del Sur.

This activity aims to suited every Facilities and operation of the said farm machinery.

📢 Empowering Maguindanao’s Fisherfolk! 🎣🌊

The MAFAR Fisheries Division Provincial Office successfully conducted a Technical Assistance and Lecture on Aquaculture and Capture Technology for the dedicated fisherfolk of Datu Salibo and Datu Piang last August 8, 2025 at the MAFAR Datu Salibo Office.

📍 MAFAR Datu Salibo Team Strengthens Farmer and Fisherfolk Profiling Efforts

The MAFAR Datu Salibo team, led by Agriculturist I Akmad Amba , successfully conducted a courtesy visit and brief orientation in preparation for the profiling of farmers and fisherfolk through RSBSA enrollment and Geo-tagging.

The activity took place from July 28 to August 1, 2025, covering five barangays: Sambulawan, Pagatin, Butilen, Magaslong, and Tee, all within the Municipality of Datu Salibo, Maguindanao del Sur.

This initiative aims to ensure inclusive support and accurate data collection, paving the way for more responsive agricultural programs and services for our Bangsamoro communities.

Successful field monitoring and validation were conducted today with rice, corn, and high-value crop farmers. The MAFAR-Maguindanao Agriculture Division monitoring team, headed by Senior Agriculturist Norhid Wahab and Agriculturist I Akmad Amba, together with company interns from MSU-Marawi City Main Campus, led the activity. This was made possible through the collaborative efforts of MMO Hamsa M. Abdul and the MAFAR Datu Salibo team, whose invaluable support greatly contributed to the success of the activity.
