GOOD FAMILY, BAD FRIENDS!
The tragic story of Tyler Robinson, 22, accused of assassinating Charlie Kirk, reminds us why we never stop campus ministry.
What we know about him:
• Raised in a good family but drifted into left-wing activism, rejecting the values he was taught.
• At a recent family dinner, he ranted with extreme hostility against conservatives.
• Active inside Antifa Discord groups.
• Convinced himself Charlie Kirk was a “fascist” spreading hate.
• Left Antifa slogans and propaganda at the crime scene.
• Son of a sheriff — the very father who turned him in once it was clear his son was guilty.
Parents, this is a wake-up call. A good family is not enough if our kids are discipled more by the world than by God’s truth. If we don’t instill His Word and values early, culture will take over. And when lies are disguised as “justice,” young people without a solid foundation will be swept away.
This is why campus ministry is not optional — it’s a mandate. The most important years of a young person’s life are spent in the campus — from age 6 to 23, the campus is the molding ground of destiny.
When we reach the campus, we reach the future. When we disciple students, we redeem destinies. Every church must rise and engage in the campuses, because revival in the nation begins with revival in the next generation.
