Through the good days and the hard ones, you’ve continued to lead with humility, courage, and love. You remind us that ministry isn’t about recognition — it’s about obedience and compassion. 💛

1. Leaving the Old Self Behind

Paul reminds believers that following Christ means a decisive break from their old way of life. Renewal begins when we choose to let go of worldly habits, sinful patterns, and hardened hearts. Transformation in Christ requires surrender—laying aside the old self with its corruption and putting on the new self that reflects God’s righteousness and holiness. It’s a daily decision to turn from darkness toward light.

2. Renewal Happens in the Mind and Spirit

Verse 23 emphasizes being "renewed in the spirit of your minds." True transformation doesn’t only happen outwardly; it starts within. Our thoughts, values, and perspectives must be shaped by God’s Word and Spirit. This renewal aligns us with God’s truth, changing the way we think, act, and respond to life. The Christian walk is not about behavior modification but inner renewal that flows into outward transformation.

3. Transformation Reflects Christ to the World

Putting on the “new self” means living in a way that reveals Christ to others—through love, integrity, compassion, and holiness. Transformation is not just for personal growth but also for witness. When people see the change in us, they see the power of Christ at work. Our renewed lives become testimonies that draw others to the gospel.

What a beautiful reminder that If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17) 🌿
