1. Pray to God.
Praying is one of the free things we can do. Pray when you are happy, anxious, or sad. Your faith can make a big difference.
2. Be open to opportunities.
If a good opportunity comes your way and you genuinely want to try it, do it. There will be many more opportunities—find where you thrive and feel most alive.
3. Consciously choose what to absorb.
Many people will point out what's wrong with you. Don't worry; they, too, may not know where they're going, and some may resent themselves for it. Don't do the same. Love yourself.
4. Learn from people you have things in common with.
Be open to different perspectives, but it is often easier to learn from someone who is similar to you—in morals, skills, lifestyle, and values.
5. Do it your way.
Gather what you have learned and do it your own way. Leave your unique mark on this world. Be the confident, expressive, and unapologetically authentic person you want to be.
6. Dream well and dream big for yourself.
Separate yourself from your anxieties. Discover what you truly want in the absence of negativity. But understand that you may not achieve it immediately. You need to work hard and stay disciplined to make it happen.
7. Pausing in silence is also a form of wisdom.
If anger has gotten the better of you and you cannot speak kindly at the moment, you can breathe, stay silent, or walk away. But, human to human, the choice is ultimately yours.
8. Be grateful for the trials. Be grateful for the blessings.
Both have something valuable to teach you.
