Understanding the Criteria and Process Participants learn the detailed requirements, from earning badges and attending camps to planning, implementing, and documenting a meaningful project in areas like ecology, health, livelihood, or cultural heritage.

It ensures that scouts, troop leaders, and parents are aligned in their roles, responsibilities, and expectations. This clarity empowers scouts to confidently pursue their chosen projects with community support.

The CGSMS highlights the Girl Scout’s role in nation-building, with medalists often becoming future leaders—teachers, doctors, entrepreneurs, and advocates for change.

A Launchpad for Personal Growth Beyond the medal, the orientation marks the beginning of a transformative experience that nurtures spiritual, mental, physical, social, and emotional development.

A symbol shaped like a drop of nature’s hope, it reflects the spirit of every young woman taking root in purpose—rising in leadership and blooming in courage.

This year’s badge pulsates with vibrant meaning— intertwining profiles representing sisterhood, while the flowing streaks of orange and green honor the girls’ unstoppable energy and deep connection to nature.
