Holy Week invites us to slow down and step into the story of Jesus Christ—not just as observers, but as participants in His journey of love, suffering, and redemption.

From His triumphant entry on Palm Sunday to the quiet sorrow of Good Friday and the hope of Easter Sunday, we see a powerful truth unfold: love is not passive—it is sacrificial.

In a world that often teaches us to seek comfort, success, and recognition, Holy Week challenges us to reflect:

(1) Are we willing to serve even when it’s inconvenient?
(2) Can we forgive even when it hurts?
(3) Do we remain faithful in moments of silence and suffering?

The cross is not just a symbol of pain—it is a symbol of unconditional love. Every sacrifice Jesus made reminds us that we are deeply loved, even in our brokenness.

But the story doesn’t end in darkness.

Easter teaches us that pain is not permanent, and hope is never lost. Just as the resurrection followed the crucifixion, our own struggles can lead to renewal and transformation.

May this week guide us to be kind to one another, understanding, and more patient—even when it’s hard. Always have faith. 😌

As of early 2026, this is widely considered the #1 most beautiful modern coastal road in the country. With the project now nearing 100% completion (including the massive Bucana Bridge), it has become a global-standard esplanade.⁣

While the Patapat Viaduct in 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐬 remains the legendary "King of the North" for its rugged cliff-side architecture, 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬 secures the third rank as the nation’s ultimate accessible coastal escape, offering breathtaking views of the Verde Island Passage and seamless connectivity for travelers.⁣

This world-class road system, anchored by the stunning Bucana Bridge, not only serves as a vital transport bypass but also as the country's longest coastal park, featuring dedicated bike lanes and pedestrian promenades. Backed by a World Travel Index score of 75.48, Davao City now leads the pack, offering a unique blend of safety, modern engineering, and breathtaking gulf views that make it the undisputed king of Philippine coastal cities this year.⁣

It is no longer just a highway, it’s a destination with dedicated parks, viewing decks, and high-fidelity aesthetic lighting that rivals international waterfronts.

Bianca Gonzalez says that it is hard to support local tourism because it is expensive:

“Totoo. Bakit ganun. We booked a trip to Siargao and it is more expensive than a trip to Hong Kong, Bangkok, or Vietnam 😟 Mas mahirap suportahan ang lokal na turismo dahil ang mahal 😖”
