Amidst the recent shaking of the city, Brokenshire College Incorporatedโs Basic Education Department conducts a successful celebration of the United Nationโs search for the Mr. Ambassador and Ms. Ambassadress 2025.
With an aim to crown individuals that create advocacies for change, this event took place at the Robert Black Amphitheater.
โThe significance of the United Nations event is that it reminds us to explore and understand other cultures of other nations. Even though we all are different โ we all need to know how society and culture works,โ said Ethan Natad, Mr. Ambassador 2024.
โIt feels surreal that I am part of this event as the reigning queen, as someone who will pass down a crown to another candidate,โ said Roshan Jill Paramo, Ms. Ambassadress 2024.
โUnfortunately, the practice was overwhelming and restless because of the dances, collaboration, memorization, and the errors in practice,โ stated by Ira Macas, Mr. Ambassador, 2nd - Runner Up 2025.
Moreover, statements were garnered from moderators and officers from the club who spearheaded the event itself โ History Clubโs moderator, Maโam Aiza Farma stated that she feels grateful for the success of the cooperative efforts of her officers.
In addition, Maโam Jovy Sabudan, also a moderator of the History Club, said that her experience during the event was fun and overwhelming to prepare but she is grateful for the lessons she learned and took from the club.
Lastly, Chessa Rotante, History Clubโs President, shared an intricate detail on what had missed and lacked during the United Nation event. She stated that there was a big problem which was the earthquake as it was the reason for a lot of changes in the event, which supposedly had banner making, dances of nations, and the national costume segment in the Mr. and Ms. Ambassador and Ambassadress.
The search for the Mr. and Ms. Ambassador and Ambassadress marked the conclusion of the United Nations 2025 culmination, this event served as an instrument for the Brokenshirians to unite purpose with grace.
