Peanut butter in toast

Ingredients:

1 slice of bread

Peanut butter (smooth or crunchy, as desired)

Equipment:

Toaster (or toaster oven/broiler)

Knife

Plate

Procedure:

Toast the bread: Place the slice of bread in the toaster and toast it to your preferred level of crispness (lightly golden or darker).

Remove the toast: Carefully take the hot toast out of the toaster and place it on a plate.

Spread the peanut butter: Immediately use a knife to spread a layer of peanut butter evenly over the surface of the warm toast. The warmth of the toast will help the peanut butter spread more easily and become slightly gooey.

Serve and enjoy: Your peanut butter toast is ready to eat!

Optional Additions (Toppings):

A drizzle of honey or maple syrup

Sliced banana or other fruit (like strawberries, blueberries)

A sprinkle of cinnamon or flaky sea salt
