A mindful deviation from the regular Toastmasters agenda! ✨
Today’s special learning session was a meaningful reminder that communication is not only about speaking well, but also about learning how to pause, breathe, listen, reflect, and become fully present.
We had moments to ruminate on beautiful realizations today, which included:
✨ Toastmasters helps us find our voice — not to speak louder than others, but to speak with clarity, purpose, authenticity, and heart.
✨ It teaches us to humbly accept evaluations — not as criticism, but as one of the most powerful ways to learn, improve, and grow.
✨ And perhaps one of the most meaningful lessons: as leaders, we are called not only to lead people, but also to lift people. To encourage, empower, inspire, and help others rise along the way. 💙
One insight that stayed deeply with me today was:
“Disconnect to reconnect.” 🌿
In a world full of noise, pressure, notifications, deadlines, and silent battles, mindfulness reminds us to return to the present moment with awareness, intentionality, and heartfulness.
Thank you to the speakers, with special mention to invited Resource Speaker Dr. Parkash Mansukhani, founding Club President Rene Lizada, Toastmaster of the Day Trish De Jesus, evaluators, and organizers for creating a safe and inspiring space for learning!
May we continue to speak with purpose, lead with compassion, and lift others as we grow. 🌟
