𝗗𝗔𝗩𝗔𝗢 𝗗𝗘 𝗢𝗥𝗢 | NORDECO completed the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 of the Maragusan Line upgrading on September 19, 2026, strengthening system capacity and improving power reliability for its growing member-consumer-owners.

NORDECO Acting General Manager Elvera S. Alngog, MMPA, stated, "This milestone is more than a technical achievement, but a commitment to a more reliable power system for communities."

NEA Project Supervisor for NORDECO Engr. Emmanuel B. Galarse also highlighted the upgrade as a foundation for more dependable electricity that supports homes, livelihoods, and local communities.

Suspek nga tigpayuhot sikop sa Barangay Salvation, Monkayo, Davao de Oro

A suspected drug personality was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by police personnel in Barangay Salvacion, Monkayo, Davao de Oro, on September 17, 2026.

At approximately 9:44 PM, personnel of the Monkayo Municipal Police Station (MPS) Municipal Drug Enforcement Unit (MDEU), together with the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and Police Intelligence Unit (PIU) of the Davao de Oro Police Provincial Office (DDOPPO), conducted the operation in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

The operation resulted in the arrest of a 35-year-old male, identified only by the alias “PET,” who was allegedly involved in illegal drug activities.

Police personnel recovered from the suspect several heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a substance suspected to be methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as shabu, along with other items used as evidence during the operation.

The arrested suspect and the seized evidence were placed under the custody of the Monkayo MPS for proper documentation and disposition in accordance with existing laws, rules, and procedures.

A drug den was dismantled following a successful buy-bust operation conducted by operatives of the Davao de Oro Provincial Office of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 11 (PDEA RO11), in cooperation with the Pantukan Municipal Police Station, at Purok Margarita, Sunshine Subdivision, Barangay Kingking, Pantukan, Davao de Oro, on September 19, 2026, at approximately 1:10 A.M.

The target of the operation, identified as “alias Boss,” 34, the drug den maintainer, was arrested after he sold one sachet of suspected shabu weighing approximately one gram, with an estimated street value of ₱7,000, to a PDEA poseur-buyer.

Also apprehended during the operation were “alias Ralph,” a drug den employee, and “alias Yasheer", a visitor of the e drug den.

Seized during the operation were 11 sachets of suspected shabu, weighing approximately 32 grams, with an estimated street value of ₱217,600, along with assorted drug paraphernalia and the marked buy-bust money.

“PDEA RO11 and our partner agencies remain united in the fight against illegal drugs. We will continue to dismantle drug dens, hold drug personalities accountable, and protect our communities. Together, we will keep Davao Region safe and drug-free,” said PDEA RO11 Regional Director ATTY. BENJAMIN G. GASPI.
The arrested individuals will face charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

PNP SWIFT RESPONSE LEADS TO SAFE RESCUE OF HOSTAGE, ARREST OF ARMED SUSPECT IN MANDALUYONG

Under the leadership of Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), police personnel in Mandaluyong City successfully rescued a female hostage and arrested an armed suspect following a hostage-taking incident on September 16, 2026.

The incident was reported at around 9:30 a.m. at a building along E. Pantaleon Street, Barangay Barangka Drive. Responding police units immediately secured the area, established a controlled perimeter, and opened communication with the 43-year-old suspect while specialized personnel prepared for a safe resolution of the situation.

After sustained negotiation and careful coordination, police personnel were able to enter the room and safely secure the 52-year-old female victim and take the suspect into custody. No loss of life was reported during the operation. A 10-inch kitchen knife allegedly used by the suspect was recovered and placed under proper evidence handling procedures.

The victim and the suspect were subsequently brought to a medical facility for evaluation. The suspect is currently under police custody and is facing complaints for Serious Illegal Detention and violation of Batas Pambansa Blg. 6, subject to inquest proceedings before the Mandaluyong City Prosecutor’s Office.

Matud pa niini, ang naa sa kwentador 2606 kwh apan sa reading sa davao light anaa sa 2630, Nakita sa konsumante nga gidugangan ug 24kwh

Atong panawagan sa davao light, nga tarungon ang ilahang serbisyo kay ang maopng buhat usa ka dakong pagpanikas sa konsumante ug kong tinuod mo nga nagprotekta sa konsumante disiplinaha Ninyo ang nagreading, unsa ,ma nang inyoha lipatlipat? Lalaki nga donay kasong Murder sikop sa Mati PNP

Malampusong nadakpan sa mga operatiba sa Mati City Police Station (Mati CPS) ang giila nga nalambigit sa hacking incident nga nahitabo sa Sitio Magapo-1, Barangay Central, City of Mati niadtong Septiyembre 15, 2026, alas 5:00 sa hapon.

Human sa inisyal nga pagresponde ug imbestigasyon sa maong insidente, dihadiha nga gipahigayon sa mga kapulisan sa Mati CPS ubos sa direktang pagdumala ni PLTCOL FREDERICK C. SA-AO, Chief of Police, ang hot pursuit operation aron masubay ug madakpan ang suspek nga mikalagiw human sa hitabo.

Sa mga alas 7:30 sa gabii sa maong adlaw, malampusong nadakpan sa mga operatiba sa Mati CPS ang suspek nga 30 anyos ang pangidaron, ulitawo, ug residente sa Relocation Site, Bilawan, Barangay Central, City of Mati, Davao Oriental.

Ang pagdakop nahimong posible pinaagi sa paspas nga koordinasyon ug padayon nga operasyon sa mga kapulisan sa Mati CPS human madawat ang report bahin sa insidente.

Sa pagkakaron, ang nadakpang suspek anaa na sa kustodiya sa Mati CPS alang sa hustong disposisyon samtang ginahikay ang mga kinahanglanong dokumento alang sa pagsang-at sa angay nga kaso ngadto sa Prosecutor’s Office.
