traditional ritual or prayer, primarily practiced by Manobo-sub groups such as Matigsalug, Ata-Manobo and Ata tribe.
Panubad-tubad is used in many occasions like wedding, farming, harvesting burial ceremonies, marriage etc.

My note: I'm assuming this was taken infront of the San Pedro Church? Somebody maybe asking what's with their eyes. It seems the photographer asked them to stand straight and hold their eyes wide and open for the longest time as cameras those days need a few minutes exposure time when pictures are taken. Otherwise it come out as blurry. - Paul.
