We now witnessing the real reason why she chose to fight Digong during his regime
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. turned over a ₱500-million Special Allotment Release Order (SARO) to fund the retrofitting and modernization of the Jesse M. Robredo Coliseum (JMRC) in Naga City during his visit on Saturday, supporting plans to transform the facility into a disaster-ready evacuation and response hub.
The project includes the installation of a community kitchen capable of feeding thousands during emergencies, upgrades to sanitation facilities and the roofing system, and structural strengthening to improve safety and resilience.
Part of the funding will also enhance the coliseum’s drainage system to help prevent flooding and establish dedicated medical response areas for crisis situations.
Marcos inspected the site alongside Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo while also checking ongoing Oplan Kontra Baha operations in the area, underscoring the national government’s efforts to boost local disaster preparedness and response capabilities.
