Following the recommendation of DPWH, as 𝐨𝐟 𝟏:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐁𝐨𝐥𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝟏 (𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐕𝐄𝐇𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘.

Trucks and other heavy vehicles are advised to take alternate routes.

CTTMO personnel are on site to manage traffic and assist motorists in the area.

Councilor Danilo Dayanghirang announced on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, that the city government will acquire 20 new public buses.

20 new city buses will be added to the current transit system to ease commuter congestion. The city will also develop a new digital tracking platform. This will allow commuters to see real-time bus locations for smarter, more efficient travel planning.

The initiative will be financed through the proposed Supplemental Budget 1 for the 2026 fiscal year.

ADVISORY: Starting tomorrow, March 30, 2026, several malls in Davao City will be adjusting their operating hours. This is part of an effort to help reduce electricity consumption amid the energy concerns brought about by the ongoing fuel crisis.

Note that these are only the malls that have made official announcements; several other malls may announce similar adjustments soon. And these schedule are subject to change by their respective management.

MA-A FLYOVER, MAAGIAN NA!!! karong Marso 2, 2026 (Lunes)

Regulations:

- No trucks are allowed to pass along Ma-a Flyover during Truck ban hours (5:00am-9:00am, 4:00pm
-8:00pm), Monday to Friday, including trucks with exemption;

- NO LEFT TURN when exiting the Davao Christian High School, always turn right and make U-turn ahead;

- REGULATED LEFT TURN to all vehicles going into school coming from Ma-a Flyover. 5:00am – 9:00am and 4:00pm-8:00pm, Monday to Friday ONLY;

- NO LEFT TURN to all vehicles coming from Ma-a Rd. going into the school, instead, use Ma-a Bypass Rd. and execute U-turn;

- All vehicles coming from Ma-a Rd going to Magtuod Rd. or C.P>Garcia Highway (Southbound) must turn right and make U-turn ahead;

- All vehicles coming from Magtuod Rd. going to Ma-a Rd or C.P. Garcia Highway (Northbound), must turn right and execute U-turn ahead.
