Not all works will last, but what is done for God with sincere faith and obedience will endure.

Believers' works will be tested by God, like materials passing through fire.

(1 CORINTHIANS 3:14-15)

Verse 14: If a person's work for God endures the test, they will receive a reward.

Verse 15: If their work is burned up because it was built on poor motives or lacked lasting value, they will suffer loss of reward. However, the believer themselves will still be saved, though "as through fire"—meaning salvation remains, but rewards are forfeited.

1 Corinthians 3:14–15 reminds us that our lives and service will one day be tested by God. Rewards await those whose work remains, while works without lasting value will be lost. Yet God's grace assures salvation for those who belong to Christ.

Let us build our lives on the solid foundation of Jesus Christ and serve Him with hearts that seek His glory above all else.
--------------------

1 Corinthians 3: 14
"If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward."

Corinthians 3:15
"If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames."

Joseph was the beloved son of Jacob, who gave him a special coat of many colors. Because of their father's favoritism and Joseph's God-given dreams, his brothers became jealous and sold him into slavery.

Though Joseph suffered betrayal, slavery, and imprisonment, God remained with him and eventually raised him to become a ruler in Egypt.

In the end, Joseph forgave his brothers and recognized that God had used his hardships to accomplish a greater purpose—saving many lives during a famine.

What others meant for evil, God used for good. God can turn suffering, setbacks, and injustice into purpose and fulfillment of His plans.

Joseph's journey reminds us that God is working even in our darkest seasons. Betrayal, suffering, and delays do not stop His purpose. What others mean for evil, God can use for good.

Genesis 37:3 (KJV)
"Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children... and he made him a coat of many colours." (Joseph's Coat)

Genesis 37:7 (KJV)
"For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field... and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright." (Joseph's Dream)

Genesis 37:31 (KJV)

Ezekiel 37 records one of the most powerful visions in Scripture. God brings the prophet Ezekiel into a valley filled with dry bones, symbolizing the hopeless and spiritually dead condition of Israel during their exile. The Lord asks Ezekiel, "Can these bones live?" and then commands him to prophesy over them.

As Ezekiel speaks God's Word, the bones come together, are covered with flesh, and finally receive the breath of life. The vision demonstrates God's power to restore what seems beyond recovery. It is a message of hope, renewal, resurrection, and restoration for God's people.

God declares that He will bring His people back from captivity, place His Spirit within them, and give them new life. What appears dead is not beyond God's ability to revive.

> Speak God's Word over seemingly hopeless
situations.
> God can restore what has been broken, lost,
or spiritually dead.
> No circumstance is beyond God's power to
revive.
> The Holy Spirit brings life, renewal, and
transformation.
> God's promises remain true even in seasons
of despair.

God brings life to the lifeless and hope to the hopeless through His Word and Spirit.
--------------------------

Ezekiel 37:3 (NKJV)
"And He said to me, 'Son of man, can these bones live?' So I answered, 'O Lord God, You know.'"

Ezekiel 37:4 (NKJV)
"Again He said to me, 'Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, "O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!"'"

Ezekiel 37:5 (NKJV)
"Thus says the Lord God to these bones: 'Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.'"

Ezekiel 37:10 (NKJV)
"So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army."

Ezekiel 37:14 (NKJV)
"I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it, says the Lord."

A bishop is a spiritual overseer appointed to shepherd, guide, teach, and care for the people of God.

In the Bible, a bishop is called to lead with humility, integrity, wisdom, and sound doctrine.

The role is not merely a title of honor, but a sacred responsibility to protect the church, nurture believers, and serve as an example of godly leadership.

A true bishop reflects the heart of Jesus Christ — the Chief Shepherd and Bishop of souls.

A bishop is called not only to lead people, but to faithfully serve God’s church with truth, holiness, compassion, and spiritual maturity. Biblical leadership is centered on service, accountability, and reflecting the character of Christ.
--------------------------

1 Timothy 3:1–2
“This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
A bishop then must be blameless…”

Titus 1:7
“For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God…”

Philippians 1:1
“…with the bishops and deacons.”

Acts 20:28
“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God…”

1 Peter 5:2–3
“Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof…”

1 Peter 2:25
“For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.”

As followers of Christ, we are called to reflect His character in everything we do.

Excellence is not about pride or perfectionism—it is about honoring God with our best effort, integrity, and diligence.

When we work faithfully and skillfully, we become a testimony of God’s greatness to others. Mediocrity should never define the life of someone representing the King of kings.
---------------------------

Proverbs 22:29
“Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.”

Colossians 3:23
“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.”

Matthew 5:16
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Ecclesiastes 9:10
“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might.”

1 Corinthians 10:31
“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

Daniel 6:3
“Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him.”

Excellence is not just about impressing people—it is an act of worship to God.

As believers, every task we do, whether big or small, should reflect diligence, integrity, and wholehearted devotion because we represent the God we serve.

When we work with excellence, we honor Him and become a testimony of His goodness and character in our daily lives.

God calls us to work faithfully and responsibly, using the talents and opportunities He has given us.

But Scripture reminds us that success, strength, wisdom, and lasting results ultimately come from Him.

Hard work without dependence on God can become empty striving.

When we labor with prayer, humility, and trust in the Lord, our work gains eternal purpose and direction.
-------------------------

Psalm 127:1
“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.”

Proverbs 3:5–6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

Colossians 3:23
“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.”

Philippians 4:13

Faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of salvation, just as roots are the foundation of a tree.

Good works are not what save a person, but they are the natural evidence of a living and genuine faith.

A true relationship with Christ changes the heart and produces a life that reflects God’s love, obedience, and righteousness.
------------------------

Romans 3:22 (NIV)
“This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.”

Ephesians 2:8–10 (NLT)
“God saved you by his grace when you believed... Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done... For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”

James 2:17 (NIV)
“Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”

Matthew 7:17 (NIV)
“Every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.”

Galatians 5:22–23 (NIV)
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”

Salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ, not by human effort alone.

True faith trusts in Christ and transforms the heart, producing a life that reflects obedience, love, and righteousness.

Genuine faith is not only spoken—it is seen in the way a person lives.

Faith in Jesus saves, and real faith transforms lives.
------------------------------

Romans 3:22
“This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.”

James 2:24
“You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.”

Ephesians 2:8–9
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith...”

James 2:17
“Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”

2 Corinthians 5:17
“If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come...”

James 2:18
“Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.”

Lust is a strong sinful desire that pulls the heart away from God’s purity and truth.

In the Bible, lust is not only about physical immorality but also uncontrolled cravings, selfish passions, and desires that lead people into sin.

Scripture warns that lust begins in the heart, grows through temptation, and can eventually destroy a person spiritually, emotionally, and morally.

God calls believers to pursue purity, self-control, holiness, and a renewed mind through His Spirit.
--------------------------

James 1:14
"but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed."
(Temptation Begins in Desire)

James 1:15
"Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death."
(Lust Leads to Sin)

Matthew 5: 28
"But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart."
(Jesus Warned About Lustful Thoughts)

2 Timothy 2: 22
"Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart."
(Flee Youthful Lusts)

Galatians 5: 16
"So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh."
(Walk by the Spirit)

1 John 2: 16
"For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world."
(The World Passes Away)

1 Corinthians 10: 13
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

Psalm 18:7 describes the terrifying power and majesty of God as He rises in anger to defend His servant.

The verse paints a dramatic picture of the earth shaking and mountains trembling because of God’s righteous wrath.

It emphasizes that God is not distant or passive—He responds powerfully when injustice and oppression rise against His people.

David uses earthquake imagery to show that when God moves, all creation recognizes His authority and power.

- God’s overwhelming power
- Divine judgment against evil
- God defending His servant
- Creation responding to God’s presence
- The fearsome majesty of the Lord
---------------------------

Psalm 18:7
“The earth trembled and quaked,
and the foundations of the mountains shook;
they trembled because he was angry.”

Exodus:18
(Mount Sinai trembled at God’s presence.)
