Giklaro sa Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) nga ubos sa Republic Act No. 12144, ang Davao Light na karon ang gitugotan sa balaod nga maghatag og serbisyo sa kuryente sa Island Garden City of Samal (IGaCoS) ug sa mga lugar nga sakop niini.

TAGUM CITY โ€” Davao Light has officially started billing and collection operations in Tagum City beginning May 26, following the implementation of the Supplemental Writ of Possession served by the Regional Trial Court sheriff on May 25.

The move marks the formal turnover of power distribution operations to Davao Light in Tagum City, Kapalong, New Corella, and Talaingod.

Davao del Norte Governor Edwin Jubahib and Davao Light President and COO Enriczar Tia made the announcement during a press conference in Tagum City.

According to Tia, Davao Light will follow the same rate structure used in Davao City. Earlier this year, Davao Lightโ€™s residential rate was around โ‚ฑ10.30 per kilowatt-hour โ€” a rate expected to bring cheaper electricity costs to consumers in Tagum City.

For billing, payment, and service concerns, customers may contact Davao Light through 0919-057-3572 or visit its newly opened office at Gaisano Mall of Tagum.

Davao Light assured the public that it is working to ensure a smooth transition of services.

TAGUM CITY โ€” Davao Light and Power Company (DLPC) officially begins its billing and collection operations in Tagum City on May 26, following the implementation of the Supplemental Writ of Possession served by the Regional Trial Court sheriff on May 25.

The writ formally initiated the turnover of power distribution operations to Davao Light, paving the way for the companyโ€™s full operational takeover in Tagum City.

The proceedings were witnessed by Tagum City Mayor Rey Uy, Davao Light President and Chief Operating Officer Enriczar Tia, and members of the companyโ€™s board of directors.

With the transition now in effect, consumers in Tagum City may contact Davao Light through its official hotline at 0919-057-3572 for concerns related to billing, payments, and power services.

Customers may also visit the newly opened Davao Light office located at Gaisano Mall of Tagum for in-person transactions and assistance.

Meanwhile, Davao Light announced that former employees of NORDECO who wish to continue working in the power distribution sector may apply for available positions in the company.

The company assured the public that efforts are underway to ensure a smooth transition of services as Davao Light officially assumes operations in the city.
