‎ New Corella National High School organized a Science and Math (Sci-Math) Team Quiz Bee as a way to celebrate Sci-Math month, and to showcase and boost the students' knowledge in Sci-Math.
‎
‎ Each team faced different levels of difficulty which were easy for round 1, average for round 2, and hard for the last round.
‎
‎ The quiz bee included participants from Grades 7, 8, and 9 students who belonged in category A and Grade 10, 11, and 12 in category B. Each team was required to have one participant from each grade level within their category.
‎
‎ Moreover, the participants who won 1st to 3rd place will be recognized during the Sci-Math culmination.

Put your pens down and lift your gaze, in tribute to educators whose dedication and perseverance have paved the path to illuminate your journey and nurtured your growth.

To put the gratitude into a heartfelt appreciation, New Corella National High School cheerfully opened the World Teachers’ Month Celebration. As the sequence of event continues, teachers shared messages and students has made the event memorable by showering gracious initiatives.

The celebration highlights the warm words of appreciation by the teacher’s response of Nivea Sheina I. Melloria- Teacher 1. Her message serves as an honor to all the teachers who were the strong foundation of success who led her to where she is standing right now.

Every passion carries a role—where good leadership has to be demonstrated in order to guide and discipline nation’s youth for them to grow and develop the ability to maintain their values and responsibilities. Mr. Ricardo M. Olmedo Jr. - Principal IV delivered some words, as he valued not only the pursuit of academic excellence but also the cultivation of character and discipline among the students.

Beneath the countless lessons they have shared, their sacrifices, determination, and their presence not only as a teacher but also a pillar of strength to drive the journey lighter has to be honored.

The celebration plays like an orchestra of gratitude where softest notes of 'thanks' and the simplest gestures of effort could compose a melody that makes them feel appreciated.

𝑮𝒆𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒐𝒓 𝑯𝒊𝒈𝒉 𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔’ 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔!

The time has come for young researchers to showcase their hard work! For months, they have explored issues in their school and community, searching for solutions and making recommendations. Now, they are ready to share their discoveries.

New Corella National High School will hold its annual 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 2𝗻𝗱, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 8:00 𝗔𝗠 𝘁𝗼 4:00 𝗣𝗠. The event is initiated by Ma’am Mharla Abenoja, the research coordinator, along with research teachers Sir Bryan Benegian, Sir Jester Alejan, Ma’am Nikki Paye Javinez, and Ma’am Rica Capangpangan, with the support of the SHS master teachers, head teachers, and Ma’am Raquel Tagalinao, the principal.

This event highlights student creativity and critical thinking as they present their research on various topics. It is a great opportunity for students to share ideas and engage in meaningful discussions. Throughout the day, attendees will present their research, participate in Q&A sessions, and connect with fellow students and mentors.

The presentations will feature both 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵, 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀. One of the event’s highlights is the panel discussion, where experts from different fields will provide insights and feedback. New Corella National High School (NCNHS) stood out among 11 participating districts in the Division Senior High School Student Research Congress, earning top ranking in both qualitative and quantitative research.

In the Robotics (Individual Category), Zeldrick Ebilane claimed the gold medal, securing First Place under the guidance of his coach, Glenn Nanual.

NCNHS also took home two bronze medals in the competition. Lyka Jane Coscos achieved Third Place in the Life Science (Individual Category) with the mentorship of coach Jeanne Fe Nanual. In the Physical Science (Team Category), the team of John Vincent Hibaya, Keziah Rozelle Dalogdog, and Risha Jade Mantica showed impressive teamwork in their project, clinching Third Place.

The achievements of NCNHS students would not have been possible without the steadfast support of the school administration, led by Principal IV Raquel Tagalinao, and the dedication of the STEM Department.

Meanwhile, the school extended its heartfelt gratitude to Adrian Plaza, Maitha Facto, and Rodnie Alingalan for their invaluable contributions in making this success a reality.

Students from New Corella National High School-Senior High School (NCNHS-SHS) excelled at the recently concluded district research congress held at Macgum Integrated School.

With a mission to present research that makes a meaningful impact on society, NCNHS-SHS students showcased a variety of qualitative and quantitative studies, earning top awards in both oral and poster presentations.

Grade 12 student Aiyah Rose Manliguis, coached by Mharla Abenoja, secured first place in the qualitative oral research presentation. Similarly, Kate Amanda Loreen Palmero, guided by coaches Bryan Benegian and Jester Alejan, achieved first place in the poster presentation. In the quantitative categories, Grade 12 students Hubert Ian Penaso, coached by Nikki Paye Javinez, and Stefany Faith Hibaya, mentored by Cee Jae Darunday, both claimed first place in their respective oral and poster presentations.

Research coordinator Mharla Abenoja expressed her immense pride in the students’ achievements, highlighting the school’s commitment to developing learners who are not only academically strong but also socially aware.

She emphasized the importance of equipping students with the skills to analyze societal issues and propose viable solutions.

Moreover, the winners will advance to the division research congress level.

𝓕𝓔𝓐𝓣𝓤𝓡𝓔 | 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐲

Loud echoes of cheers and yells fill the air, with the deafening shouts of triumph and groans of defeat. Under the scorching heat of the sun, athletes are drenched in sweat as they run for victory. But as loud the crowd is, there are those on silent standby, scanning the sea of people as they look out for signs of emergency—the student medics.

"Time, effort, and skills." These are just some of the sacrifices they make, says Angel. While everyone experiences the enjoyment of games and shared laughter, medics stand apart, their gaze sticking at those who need them. Their commitment to their duty resonates a calmness against chaos.

They are the front liner during these times, their presence providing a sense of safety and reassurance. In days like Intramurals, the risk of accidents is doubled. May it be a broken bone from a softball game, a scrapped knee from a failed volleyball jump, or dizziness from the parching heat of the eleven o'clock sun.

As they are outshined by the players and athletes who appear to be the stars of the show, their work is as important. They are always there, committed, one call away.

𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 2𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐬

𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗔, 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲 – For the first time in five years, New Corella National High School (NCNHS) hosted an engaging color party during the second day of Intramurals, under the initiative of the Supreme Student Learners' Government (SSLG).

The event, last held in 2019, made a vibrant return this year, made possible with the support of the Bureau of Fire Protection of New Corella.

In addition, the color party provided not only fun and enjoyment for students but also fostered socialization, building friendships, and promoting camaraderie among the school community.
