The results of the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) Elimination Round has been released and Rhianna Medina, a Grade 10 student of Dibuluan NHS qualifies in the final round for Editorial writing English.

Tribu once again showed its performance not just in sports but also in writing.

Ballad steps to another spot in LD4;
Bueno and Dela Torre rank second in walk-a-thon and shot put

Precious Harlene Ballad secured her path to LD4 as she defeated Jones West District in walk-a-thon with 15 minutes and 29 seconds finishing 200 meters during the Municipal Athletic Meet, September 26.

Meanwhile, Jetrick Bueno, grade 11 student got silver medal in Walk-a-thon boys category.

On the other hand, Ian Carl Dela Torre brought home silver medal at shot put throwing events after facing one Jones East District player and two Jones West players.

Nasungkit ni Dennis Cristobal ang unang pwesto sa 800 meters run sa katatapos na Municipal Athletic Meet, kahapon.

Sa buong takbuhan, ipinakita niya ang kanyang determinasyon at bilis. Dito nakaharap niya ang dalawang manlalaro mula sa Jones East at dalawang manlalaro naman mula sa Jones West resulta nang hindi pagiging madali sa kanya ang laban.

Gayunpaman, ang determinasyon ni Cristobal ang nagtulak para unang makatawid sa finish line. Ang panalong ito ay nagbigay ng malaking karangalan sa kanyang paaralan at nagbigay ng inspirasyon sa kanyang mga kapwa mag-aaral at atleta.

DNHS shows mastery level, owning the place to LD4

Bill Geith Agpalza and Leisam Nicolas dominated the Modern Standard category after winning first place in all five dances—Slow Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, and Quick Step.

Jan Benedict Agcaoili and Julia Mabel Samara consistently placed second in Slow Waltz, Foxtrot, and Quickstep and third place in tango and Veneze Waltz.

Meanwhile Jhon Anthony Mabuti Nantes and Sheena Morillo secured third place in Slow Waltz, Foxtrot, and Quickstep and second place in Tango and Veneze Waltz

In the 5-Dance Marathon, Agpalza and Nicolas captured the Gold, Agcaoili and Samara earned Silver, and Nantes with Morillo took home the Bronze

Dibuluan National High School men's volleyball team—Jones East District, shined after bringing home the gold. It was a close race-to-three match, 3-2, coached by Sir Zaquiouse Mark Santos against Jones West District.
Meanwhile, the girls’ team—Jones East District, coached by Ma'am Janneth Bulan and Sherry Ann Gaffud secured also the victory with a 3-1 win against Jones West District, today, September 26.

Tribu named again in LD4 Science Fair

𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 — Dibuluan National High School’s Students achieved a notable success at the "𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐋𝐃 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫", which took place at Wigan Integrated School in Barangay Wigan, Cordon, Isabela.

Crisa Mae D. Reyes, Sam Janricson C. Gaffud, and Ericka Joy P. Mina, 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒉𝒚𝒔𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒎 secured 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 on 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, by the guidance and supervision of their coach, Auvepher Nicolas.

Auvepher Nicolas also guided the 𝑺𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑰𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒎, composed of Jan Niña P. Ucol, A***n M. Lorenzo, and Katherine T. Maddela, to a commendable 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 outcome.

Additional honors were earned in other categories, highlighting the diverse talent of Andrie Patrick L. Catabay, coached by Donita Joy R. Miguel, who claimed 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 in 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈.

Luke Mharl Agpalza, a Grade 10 Student, achieved 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 in the 𝑺𝒄𝒊-𝑫𝒂𝒎𝒂, mentored by his coaches Jaymar Hermoso and Lilibeth Bumanglag.

On the other hand, Junneah T. Quiming, Shanley M. Navarro, and Andrei Patrick L. Catabay with their coach Auvepher Nicolas, has been recognized for being the participants on Life Science as a Team.

Ezra Ballocanag, a Grade 7 learner, with his coach Wilson Gapusan, has been also recognized for being the participant on Sci-Dama, Grade 7 categories.

These students, along with their coaches, who represented the school, Dibuluan National High School at the 2025 LD Science and Technology Fair held at Wigan Integrated School showed enthusiasm and a strong spirit of learning and competition.

Eyes Here for the Specific Result!

Dibuluan National High School dominated the volleyball court as both Boys’ and Girls’ teams captured 1st Place in the 2025 District Sports Selection Meet defeating Sargeant Prospero G. Bello High School Main. Meanwhile, the school’s basketball team proved their strength in the 5x5 category, taking home 1st Place.

DNHS 12-player softball team showcased determination and strategy to claim 1st Place. More so in the world of dance, six talented dancers from Dibuluan NHS will move to higher level, earning 1st Place; similarly, in the table tennis where DNHS team, composed of four players, secured 1st Place.

𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹

The District Meet 2025 ended with big wins for the school as athletes shined in many events. Both boys and girls volleyball teams won first place, and the basketball 5×5 team also took the championship. The softball and dance sport teams were crowned 1st placers too, while Daniel Eugenio ruled table tennis with a first-place finish.

In badminton, Shane Ventura and Rhea Castronuevo won the girls’ doubles, Jhanna Ragasa topped the singles, and Eugene Lumayag took the boys’ title. Billiards brought more victories with Marvin Revolledo (8-ball boys), Viel Bandola (8-ball and 9-ball girls), and Vince Bandola (9-ball boys). On the track, Dennis Cristobal grabbed 1st place in both 1500m and 800m runs, while Vanessa Cariño ruled the 1500m girls’ division. Ian Carl Dela Torre won shot put, and the walkathon champions were Jetrick Bueno and Precious Ballad.

Chess player Keah Buduan secured third place in blitz, standard, and rapid events. With these strong results, the athletes will move to compete in the municipal meet.
