𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐳? Here are the 2 most possible scenarios if he continues his chase for the WBO World Title (he is currently unranked by the other major organizations):

𝟏. 𝐀 𝐖𝐁𝐎 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡
Depending on the decision of the WBO, an immediate rematch could be ordered. However, this would likely happen after Navarrete completes a two-month medical suspension due to the cut he sustained during the bout. Suarez will have to wait until Navarrete is fully cleared to fight again.

𝟐. 𝐕𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨
If Navarrete decides to move up in weight, which is a possibility given his difficulty making the 130-pound limit, the WBO World Super Featherweight Title would be declared vacant.

In such a case, Suarez is expected to retain his number one contender status, especially considering the controversy surrounding the outcome of their recent fight. If the WBO follows its usual process, it would order the top two available contenders to fight for the vacant title. According to the most recent rankings, that would mean Suarez facing #2 contender, former IBF World Champion 🇯🇵Kenichi Ogawa (if Ogawa is available). If Ogawa is unavailable, the WBO would move to #3 contender, 🇵🇭Mark Magsayo. If Magsayo declines, they would move to the #4 contender and continue until someone agrees to fight Suarez for the vacant title.
