Before we point fingers at someone else’s flaws, God invites us to pause and look within. It’s easy to spot the mistakes of others, but harder to admit the hidden issues in our own hearts.
True spiritual maturity begins with humility, acknowledging our need for grace before correcting anyone else. When we choose self-reflection over condemnation, we grow in love, compassion, and understanding. Let us remember Jesus’ words in Matthew 7:3–5: deal with the ‘log’ in our own eye first, so we can help others with gentleness, not judgment. May our lives reflect grace, not accusation; restoration, not shame.
