I took this photo during the Ready Dam-Go Marathon last Saturday, February 28, 2026

Before dawn, I was hoping to see a beautiful sunrise, but heavy clouds blocked the sunlight. Later on, a pocket of light suddenly appeared, and gi hunt naq ang subject to get my desired shot.

Overall, this scene reminds me of the verse in
John 1:5: “The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness has not overcome it.”
Sometimes life can feel heavy, but this moment is a quiet reminder that there is always hope in times of struggle. Jesus remains the light in our darkness.
