Justice for Rene.

It is disheartening to see people so quick to judge and attack those who have chosen to help.

My husband, Atty. Israelito Torreon Legal Insights, is not someone who needs publicity, recognition, or political mileage. Those who truly know him know that he has spent years serving others through the legal profession, standing for justice, and helping people who seek legal guidance and representation. His reputation, career, and body of work speak for themselves.

Together with Atty. Jimmy Bondoc, people reached out to him—relatives of Rene, friends, and concerned individuals—who believed he could help them seek justice. Even before social media started speculating about motives or politics, there were already those asking for legal guidance and assistance. It’s unfair to label him as an opportunist when he was simply asked to help. He did not charge any fees, receive any compensation, or have any political motives. He was just a lawyer responding to those who believed he could assist a grieving family in finding answers and justice. Before jumping to conclusions, it’s important to know the facts.

Yet sadly, instead of focusing on Rene and the quest for justice, some people have chosen to attack the very individuals who stepped forward to assist.

To those who continue to question their motives, ask yourselves: while they were offering their time, expertise, and effort, what exactly were you doing to help?

It is easy to criticize from behind a keyboard. It is much harder to step forward, take responsibility, and offer real assistance when it matters.

The issue has never been about politics, personalities, or public attention. It has always been about one thing: seeking the truth and pursuing justice for Rene.

At the end of the day, people may create stories, spread assumptions, and question intentions. But facts remain facts, and actions will always speak louder than accusations.

Our prayers remain with Rene and his family. May truth prevail, accountability be upheld, and justice finally be served.

Justice for Rene. Not politics. Not speculation. Not personal attacks. Just truth and justice.

Sa gitna ng pagdadalamhati ng pamilya nina Rene “Bobet” Baterbonia at Divine, nakakataba ng puso na may mga abogado na kusang nag-alok ng kanilang tulong nang walang hinihinging kapalit.

Maraming salamat kina Atty. Israelito Torreon, Atty. Iris Pauline Taganas-Bacaltos, at sa iba pang mga abogado na handang magbigay ng kanilang legal services nang libre kung sakaling piliin ng pamilya na ituloy ang paghahanap ng kasagutan sa pamamagitan ng legal na proseso.

Anuman ang magiging desisyon ng pamilya, mahalagang malaman nilang hindi sila nag-iisa. May mga taong handang tumulong, makinig, at umalalay sa panahong ito.

Patuloy nating ipagdasal ang pamilya nina Rene at Divine. Hiling natin ang lakas, kapanatagan, at gabay para sa kanila sa bawat hakbang na kanilang tatahakin.

Maraming salamat din sa lahat ng nagpapakita ng malasakit. Minsan, sa gitna ng pinakamadilim na yugto ng buhay, may mga tao pa ring handang magsilbing liwanag.
