With over 200 local creators, more than 100 new titles, and exciting international guests, is a celebration of the vibrant and evolving world of Philippine comics. From epic zombie outbreaks in Baguio to heartwarming cat cafés, the stories launching this year showcase the depth and creativity of Filipino storytelling.

PICOF also features 14 masterclasses from industry pros around the globe, three curated exhibits, including a tribute to Mars Ravelo, and a rare look at Palestine’s powerful comics movement. Whether you’re a reader, artist, student, or just comic-curious, PICOF invites you to discover why Filipino comics are at the heart of a cultural renaissance.

From the first golden age up to the US invasion, to this new current wave of international translations, be part of komiks history in the making at ! Watch any of the FOUR screenings of 'Komiks with a K' on July 4 & 6 at Meeting Room B, 5/F Megatrade Hall, SM Megamall Building B.

The documentary film "Komiks with a K" delves into past traditions as well as the current state of Filipino sequential art. Produced and directed by Jay Ignacio, the film covers the 1970s "Filipino Invasion" of American Comics, the subsequent rise of Whilce Portacio in the US, his influence in the Philippines, and the eventual renaissance of Filipino independent komiks of the present.
