I came across two news stories this week that left me shaken.

In one, a child was pulled from the wreckageโ€”alive, but orphaned. His parents didnโ€™t make it.

In the other, it was the child who didnโ€™t survive. The parents were left behindโ€ฆ with empty arms and a silence no one should ever know.

Itโ€™s hard to even put into words what that must feel like. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Really sad. Imagine losing both your parents at age 2. You wonโ€™t even understand whatโ€™s going on. Youโ€™ll just keep looking for them. Calling out. Waiting.

But theyโ€™re not coming back.

Jonjon and Dain were young. In love. Building a life. They did everything right. They used a car seat. It saved their babyโ€™s life.

But someone elseโ€™s recklessness still took theirs.

Now their child is left to grow up with stories and photos about his parents.

Itโ€™s one of the saddest things Iโ€™ve seen lately. They were just a small family trying to live a good life.

And now, that child will never hear their voices again.

Some people donโ€™t realize how fast everything can be gone.

Please drive safe.
