Assalamu 'Alaikum warahmatallāh!

It's time to get ready for a day of celebration, as we approach the 13th commencement day on February 15, 2025 we eagerly anticipate celebrating the achievements of our graduates.

It is a testament to the values that have guided our graduates throughout their time with us and have accomplished so much and we're looking forward to honoring their achievements. As they have shown that determination and reflection are essential for success, and that spiritual growth is an integral part of their journey.

and reflect on the theme 'Marching Ahead with Determination, Reflection, And Spiritual Achievements, Harmony Always Welcome!', is a reminder that every step forward is a step towards success. So let's congratulate our grads and wish them all the best as they embark on their next adventure.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “The most beloved of deeds to Allah are those that are continuous, even if they are small.” —Sahih Bukhari

The Holy Quran and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) remind us that patience and perseverance are essential for overcoming difficulties. But they also remind us to maintain a positive outlook and to have hope in the face of adversity.

As our graduates embark on their next journey, we hope that they will carry this sense of patience with them and strive to maintain a positive outlook, even in the face of challenges. 13th Commencement Exercises Kinder and Grade 6 and Recognition day.

Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu!

Markadz Zayed Al Mubarak Islamic Center are holding a 13th Commencement Exercises for kindergarten and grade 6 on February 15, 2025, Saturday at around 8:00 am to 12:00.

In the same time in the afternoon event at 1:00 pm till 5:00 is a Recognition day for grade 1-5 with the theme of "Marching ahead with determination Reflection, and Spiritual achievement. Harmony Always Welcome." Which will held at Purok Maunlad Extension Tambler General Santos City.

This annual event hits different because it was collaboration of three institute namely: Madrasah ibno Nasheed Al Islamie, Madrasah Khairil Ummah Al Islamie and yours truly Markadz Zayed Al Mubarak Islamic Center.

This event shows that despite of the challenges that the students faced on their studies between secular and Arabic they still manage to pursuade it.

To all the completers May Allah guide you on the right path. Allahuma barik lahum.

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐| 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐅𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐆𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐔𝐄𝐒

𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒊𝒌𝒖𝒎 𝒘𝒂 𝒓𝒂𝒉𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒉𝒊 𝒘𝒂 𝒃𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒌𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒉𝒐.

The Sporting Events continued on the same day between the 12 clusters on the 2nd day of Musabaqah Ammah 2024. They put their best foot forward and gave tough competition to their opponents in basketball, badminton, and volleyball. With students cheering for their cluster from the bleachers, more than 12 clusters from different madrasahs in General Santos City participated across various disciplines in the tournament, which was organized by ICCAD. Each team shows prowess, strength, unity, and camaraderie in all sports events.

On the same day the poster making, Ma'lumat Ammah or General Knowledge, kitaba or Speech, Qur-an reading, Tartibul hurf, and also some parlor games such as; tug of war, sack race, straw relay commenced.

Each team showed their best not only in Ilmiya but also in the food presentation. Some of the parents showed great talent and creativity in decorating their both to make it more elegant. They prepared delicious foods that represent their tribes and traditions. Indeed, the Musabaqah this year is more extravagant, more prestigious, and more intense.

𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒊𝒌𝒖𝒎 𝒘𝒂 𝒓𝒂𝒉𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒉𝒊 𝒘𝒂 𝒃𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒌𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒉𝒐.

Musabaqah is an annual event of Madaris in General Santos City whose main objective is to entice the learners to study hard and excel both in the academic and athletic fields.

On 23rd of November, the 22nd City wide Musabaqah Ammah was officially opened by our City Mayor Lorelie G. Pacquiao with the theme of "Lakas at Galing na Palaro para sa mga Madrasah" held at Antonio C. Acharon Sr. Sports Complex General Santos City, headed by Jocelyn Lambac-Kanda the Division Chief of the City Mayor's Office-Integrated Cultural Communities Affairs Division-ICCAD and facilitated by the Federation of Muslim Students Association - FEMSA.

The event started with a parade and presentation of the clusters. The 12 clusters flaunted their own props and how organized their cluster was. Asatids, PTCA officers, students, and Parents are there to represent their madrasah. They were followed by the opening ceremony and welcome address of Mr. Habirin Simpal, Special Assistant for the City Mayor on Moro Concern.

Congressman Loreto "Ton" Acharon was also there to witness the event and showed his support for the Moro Communities. City Councilors Alberto "Bobby" Pacquiao, Elizabeth Bagonoc, Jose Orlando Acharon, and Khan Balleque attended the event.

Then the Lightning of the Torch was participated by each participant of the clusters. After that, a banging of Gong and Pledge of Sportsmanship was initiated by our beloved Mayor which is a sign that the Musabaqah Ammah is officially open.

In the afternoon, the marching, sports, and academic competitions started.

The 3-day event was participated by 65 centers, 12 clusters, and one madaris for peace for Gensan and will end on November 25, 2024, Monday for the awarding ceremony.

The atmosphere was vibrant at Musabaqah Khassa (Set 2), where students gathered to demonstrate their diverse talents and exceptional academic abilities. Participants engaged in a stimulating range of activities, including organizing the alphabet, creating informative posters, practicing intricate calligraphy, and tackling a challenging general knowledge quiz.

The event also showcased the elegance of Qur'an recitation and featured inspiring speeches (Khitabah) that deeply resonated with the audience. Furthermore, a compelling short drama unfolded, skillfully intertwining creativity with essential moral teachings.

As we reflect on and celebrate the creativity and intellect of our students, we extend our sincere appreciation to all who participated and supported this enriching experience. Jazākumullāhu khairan jaza.
