THE NEW CENTER OF IMUS
Once a vast stretch of undeveloped land, the area along Imus Boulevard is rapidly emerging as one of the city’s most important growth corridors. As development accelerates, retail establishments, commercial centers, and mixed-use projects are steadily taking shape along the boulevard, contributing to the emergence of a new commercial and administrative center in Imus.
Beyond serving as the city’s new administrative center, Imus Boulevard is becoming an important transportation corridor that connects key areas across the city. It also provides access to major master-planned developments, including Evo City and Riverpark, while offering convenient connections to the Cavite–Laguna Expressway (CALAX). These links are expected to further improve connectivity between Imus, neighboring cities, and other parts of Cavite.
The boulevard’s transformation is further supported by a growing pipeline of residential, commercial, and institutional developments. Vertical residential projects such as Avesta Residences, Aviana by Vista Manors, and One Lancaster Park are adding new communities near emerging business and lifestyle destinations. Across from the Imus Government Center, a new commercial complex is being developed that will include a Cavite BRT terminal, while an upcoming Angeles University Foundation (AUF) campus will add an educational component to the area.
This growth forms part of Imus’ broader economic and urban expansion, complemented by major mixed-use developments such as Vermosa, Downtown Lancaster, and Riverpark Gateway, as well as continued development along the Daang Hari Extension. With ongoing investment in infrastructure and the expansion of residential, commercial, and institutional uses, Imus Boulevard is gradually taking on a more central role in the city’s development. As these projects progress, the area is likely to become an increasingly important part of Imus’ commercial landscape and its continued growth as the Commercial Capital of Cavite.
