SAIS Cardinal Ballers Suffer Second Defeat in Municipal Meet

The San Agustin Integrated School (SAIS) Basketball Team dropped their second leg match against Calayaan Integrated School (CIS) during the Municipal Basketball Meet at Sembrano Covered Court on August 1, 2026.

Seeking redemption after a tough loss to Gerona Western National High School in their July 25 opener, the Cardinals fought hard but ultimately fell short against CIS.

Despite the setbacks, the team remains steadfast in their drive for excellence, drawing motivation from the guidance and dedication of their coaches, Mr. Jerome F. Salcedo and Mr. Joey A. Villota.

San Agustin Integrated School (SAIS) Cardinals once more earned podium finishes during the recently held Municipal Athletic Meet on August 1, 2026, at San Jose National High School.

Erich Natividad earned the school's first gold medal in the 1,500-meter run and is set to join the finalists for the 400-meter dash.

Jaira Blesse Carrido secured silver medals in both 800-meter run and long jump for SAIS, while also earning a bronze medal in the 1,500-meter run.

Alyssa Leanillo nearly earned a podium finish in the javelin throw, placing 4th overall. Meanwhile, throwers Precious Gregorio and Ayle Manuel finished in 5th place in shot put for the women's and men's categories, respectively.

In addition, Roann Claire Lutrania earned a spot in the 100-meter dash finals.

The athletic meet is set to resume and conclude on August 8, 2026.

SAIS WOODPUSHERS FIGHT UNTIL LAST CHECK

San Agustin Integrated School (SAIS) Chess Players, Queena Shaira Papa, Jessica Marie Inyayo and Zac Rodcel Fedelicio displayed their tactic and grit as they fought during the Municipal Meet Chess Tournament, held on August 01, 2026 at Tagumbao National High School, Tagumbao, Gerona, Tarlac.

Papa dominated the first three games, but lost momentum on the last two, against Corazon C. Aquino High School and Buenlag National High School. She ended with the 3-point score after 3 wins and 2 losses.

On the other hand, Inyayo ended with 2 wins and 3 losses. While on the men's category, Fedelicio suffered 1 draw decision and 4 defeats.

Despite missing out on the podium standings, the SAIS woodpushers expressed deep appreciation for the high-level tournament exposure and the valuable strategic lessons learned over the checkered board.

SAIS claims win against CIS, suffers defeat against GWNHS

The San Agustin Integrated School (SAIS) Cardinals launched flight with a win against Calayaan Integrated School (CIS), during the start of Gerona Municipal Meet - Volleyball Girls Tournament on July 24, 2026. The team then faced a tough defeat from Gerona Western National High School (GWNHS) during their second match.

SAIS Cardinals suffered loss on the first set against CIS, ending with 21-25 scores. The team fought back claiming the second set with scores of 25 - 22. On the deciding set, Cardinals swept the court ending with a winning 15-9 scores.

During the second match, Cardinals struggled early as the first set ended with scores 17-25. GWNHS continued their momentum into the second set, dealing heavy blows on the second set finishing the game with a 25-14 scores.

SAIS is set to duel with Santiago Integrated School (SIS) on August 1, 2026 at Sulipa Covered Court, Sulipa, Gerona, Tarlac.

The Gerona Municipal Meet is set to be conducted during Saturdays, to lessen interruption of the Instructional Block.

MAGPATULOY, BATCH 2026!

Isinagawa ng San Agustin Integrated School ang ikatlong Moving-up Ceremony noong ika-30 ng Marso 2026 sa SAIS Multi-purposed Hall na may temang, "Pilipinong Nagsipagtapos: Handang Mamuno nang may Kakayahan at Mabuting Pagkatao."

Ipinakilala ni Dr. Julie Ann Saladino ang mga magsisipaglipat-antas, na kinumpirma naman ni Dr. Emmanuel Reganit, bilang kinatawan ng Regional Director at OIC-Schools Division Supervisor ng Tarlac Province, Dr. Tolentino G. Aquino, CESO III.

Nagsilbi naman bilang panauhing tagapagsalita si PFC Maria Edrene Joan S. Asio ng Philippine Army, isang alumna sa Elementarya.

Pinangunahan ni Jessica Marie S. Inyayo, may mataas na karangalan, matapos makamit ng pinakamataas na marka, ang pagbibigay pasasalamat sa Diyos, sa mga magulang, mga g**o at kapwa nagsisilipat-antas matapos ang apat na taon sa Junior High School sa loob ng paaralan.

SAIS TO END THE SCHOOL YEAR

On March 30, 2026, the graduation and Moving-up Ceremony will start at 7:00 am sharp. It will be followed by the Kindergarten Moving-up ceremony at exactly 10:00 am. While in the afternoon, the Recognition Rites will be held at 1:00 pm.

Students are expected to wear their proper uniforms during the programs, as agreed during the meetings and deliberation of grades.

SAIS IPINAGDIWANG ANG BACCALAUREATE MASS

Naganap ngayong araw, ika-27 ng Marso 2026 ang Baccalaureate Mass na nilahukan ng mga mag-aaral mula Kindergarten hanggang sa ika-11 baitang.

Ang nasa banal na misa ay pinangunahan ni Reberendo Padre Paul Carreon ng La Sagrada Parish. Tinatayang nasa 180 na mag-aaral ang nakiisa sa pagdiriwang.

Nagsimula ang programa sa rito ng pagsisindi ng kanila, kung saan ay inialay ang mga kanila na sumisimbolo sa pag-ibig, pag-asa, tuwa at pananalig. Natapos naman ito sa pagbabasbas sa mga medalya at mga bagong bahagi ng paaralan.
