Some souls leave this world far too soon, yet the impact they make lasts forever.

Alex Convicto Jr. was more than just a talented basketball player—he was a young man with a pure heart, a contagious smile, and a joyful spirit that brightened everyone around him. His determination, discipline, and love for the game inspired many, proving that greatness isn’t measured only by victories, but by the kindness and passion you share with others.

Though his basketball journey was cut short, his legacy will continue to live on in every teammate, coach, friend, and family member whose lives he touched.

To the Convicto Family, please accept our deepest and most heartfelt condolences. May God grant you strength, comfort, and peace during this painful time. We pray that Alex’s beautiful memories will forever remain in your hearts and remind you of the incredible person he was.

We are deeply saddened by the unexpected loss of one of our student-athletes, Alex Convicto.

Soy2 was a jolly person, a friend to everyone, and someone who brought smiles and good energy wherever he was. As his coach/ikaduhang papa/amigo it is difficult to accept that someone we knew to be so full of life and so cheerful is no longer with us. What happened was truly unexpected, and we are all still trying to process this heartbreaking loss.

At this very difficult time, we humbly ask everyone to please respect Alex’s family and their privacy. We kindly request that you refrain from posting, sharing, or circulating photos of Alex during his final moments. We understand that people grieve in different ways, but we hope we can all choose compassion and respect for his family during this painful time.

Instead, let us remember Soy2 for the happy, jolly person he was—the friend who welcomed everyone, the teammate who shared laughter, and the young athlete who became part of our basketball family. 🏀

To Alex’s family, our deepest condolences. Please know that Alexwill always have a place in our hearts and in our team.
