In the spirit of celebration, the Mary the Queen College of Pampanga, Inc. community is always cordially invited every feast day in Guagua, whereas the legionnaires are invited and encouraged by the higher-ups to participate in the flash mob actively. This event is a joyous occasion that not only brings the community together but also represents the beauty and different talents of the students.

This yearly event has grown to be treasured by the MQC Community and the municipality of Guagua, promoting togetherness and a traditional festivity. The mood is filled with passion and power as the youngsters capture the opportunity to highlight and demonstrate their gifts. The MQC community genuinely adds to the delighted feeling, whether it is through dancing or music.

In the second week of November 2023, the practices and preparation for the flashmob, and dance competition for each strand began. Chosen representatives from every section rehearsed on November 14 and 15, after which they assisted their classmates in grasping the steps necessary for a successful performance. The entire high school department came together on the L*D field for general practices from November 16 to December 4, 2023.

The passion and determination of students have become unbelievably apparent in the run-up to upcoming curricular events. Participants and choreographers have patiently and sweatily pledged themselves, driving the community in nurturing a sense of school honor and satisfaction. Legionnaires demonstrate their remarkable understanding of the work at hand in addition to their unwavering commitment to time management throughout daily practices.

As participants create dance steps and set up their peers into forms, excitement, and originality are evident. Their practices foster teamwork among participants to deliver an excellent performance. These actions are more than just routine; they reflect the students' united optimism and strengthen the camaraderie in our school.

Ending the event with new learnings and smiles, thatโ€™s how the leadership camp with the theme, โ€œBOREALIS: Boosting and Reigniting Accountable Leaders in an Innovative Serviceโ€ for the new Recognized Student Organization (RSO) and Supreme Student Council (SSC) for Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School (SHS) leaders and officers was led to success by the student leaders of the Central Student Council (CSC) of Mary the Queen College Pampanga Inc. (MQCPI) held at MQC Function Hall last October 27 and 28, 2023.

The said event was hosted by Mr. Ivan Santos, CSC President, and Mr. Clark Macaspac, alumni of the school and former CSC Treasurer, and several student leaders from SSCs for Junior and Senior High Schools, plus RSOs namely Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA), Young Entrepreneurs Society (YES), Hospitality Management Society (HMS), Developers Alliance and Technology Association (DELTA), Gawad Kalinga (GK), Society of Physical Education, Recreation, and Sports (SPES), Society of Elite Education Students (SEEds), Campus Ministry for College, The Papyrus (TP), The Parchment (TP-HS) and ASLAG Performing Arts, have attended where they were randomly sorted in groups like Black Draco, Red Ursa, Pink Cassiopeia, Yellow Pisces, Orange Leo, Brown Ta**us, Green Andromeda, and Blue Lyra.

The event for Day 1 started with an Opening Prayer and Singing of the National Anthem followed by welcoming remarks and an introduction of house rules by the CSC Advisor and Event Facilitator, Mr. Ferrywin D. San Agustin, an energizer/getting-to-know activity led by the hosts and Mr. San Agustin. Then the buddy-buddy system was announced by the facilitators and hosts requiring the participants to have a partner during the event. After an exciting round of activity and a short break for morning snacks, Mr. San Agustin continued to talk as he shared his knowledge about School Forms and Processes, and he also introduced the people to talk to when arranging events. This was followed by an hour of break to let the student leader rest for a while and take their lunch.

Everyoneโ€™s the winner in the team-building event where every group played different team-building games from Gutterball, Rope Relay, Pass the message, Dr. Kwak Kwak, to Longest Relay, where each groupโ€™s trust, unity, and socializing skills were tested as the facilitators restricted the group leaders of speaking.

After the sweat-breaking challenges, Mr. King Gaspar F. Calma, an alumnus, former Ambassador of Peace and Goodwill, former Vice-President of CSC, and now a cadet and jail officer, spoke things about his experiences as a student of the school, becoming an aspirant student leader in the school, his journey of becoming a student leader, and more inspiration leadership journey that led him to his current profession. This was followed by a question and answer activity where the Editor-in-chief of The Papyrus, Ms. Sharmaine Espinoza earned a token from the said speaker. Finally, after many activities, talks, and games, Day 1 was filled with knowledge as takeaways because of the Mentoring and Workshop led by hosts, facilitators, and guests before the first day of the event ended.

Another day started on Day 2 with energetic participants as they began their day with Zumba dancing and stretching exercises. After a short snack break, the event continued for the third seminar headed by Mr. Mark Gil Tuazon, another alumnus of the school, where he talked about Servant Leadership and some reminders about student leadership, and facilitated some short activities for the participants.

Filled with another burst of energy after eating their lunch, the participants proceeded to the next part of the event, the real team building where the participants of their respective colored groups started their tedious hard work, understanding, unity, and leadership in accomplishing their tasks in different stations. The Orange Leo emerged victorious in the said event after finishing their tasks ahead of the other groups.

The participants were given time to rest after the tiring event and prepare for the last event of the day, the Leadership Social Night. It was an event that put the cherry on top as the student leaders had fun socializing where they shortly disregarded their position or titles as everyone bonded together. It was also the part of the event that let the participants show their talents on the stage.

โ€œThe two greatest days in your life are the days you are born, and the day you find out whyโ€ said by Mark Twain, was the quote that earned Ms. Espinoza earned her token.

To celebrate, here's a little treat dedicated to the foundations of the Institution:

Midnight coffee run
Rushed handwritten letters
Unfinished exam questions
Dotted attendance lists

Extended deadlines may seem inconvenient,
it was a manifestation of your belief
A guiding light in a dark tunnel called life
sharing knowledge and tools to feel relieved

From your lenses, you saw something
A doctor in the hands of a playing child
In the playground full of laughter and tears, you saw an accountant
Strokes of crayons you saw yourself in this kid

Just a day to celebrate your magnificent power
A long journey with your teachings and lessons
It wasn't lonely because you were with us.

With that, happy mentor's day to you, who believed that even a simple child can change the world.

Mabiyayang umaga ang hatid sa mga estudyante ng Mary the Queen College of Pampanga Inc. (MQCPI) dahil ginanap kahapon, ika-7 ng Setyembre sa MQCPI covered court ang misa at induction ng mga bagong students leaders para sa academic year 2023 - 2024.

Sa pangunguna ni Bro. Roman Harold R. Espeleta, inducting officer.

Mary the Queen College held an employee service awarding on March 7, 2023, at the collapsible rooms in celebration of the hard work and dedication of the college's employees, who have made significant contributions to the institution's growth and success.

The service awards were given to those in the administrative departments, teaching staff, and security and janitorial services. The recipients were recognized for their loyalty, commitment, and exceptional service to the college, and were given plaques of appreciation.

The event included a mass, which was presided over by the Archbishop of San Fernando, Most Rev. Florentino G. Lavarias . In his homily, Fr. Lavarias reminded the employees of their role as servants of the community and the importance of humility and selflessness in their work.
