Ber months na kaya get-together season na ulit! We recently found out about LyLo Private Pool & Events Place, a private resort for family, barkada or team bonding na pwedeng mag-accommodate ng up to 38pax overnight and up to 100pax for events! Tara, silipin natin yung space nila!

🏝 THE SPACE. It's a good-sized private resort inside a subdivision that feels like a familiar home away from home, with enough space and greenery to allow you to breathe freely. 💭FINAL THOUGHTS. Kung naghahanap kayo ng malapit na pwedeng puntahan for a quick staycation or a special event, I recommend checking them out as a potential spot. You can schedule an ocular visit beforehand so you can check out the space before committing to a date.

Time for pampering na ulit kaya binisita namin itong isa sa mga go-to na beauty lounge sa Malolos, ang BellaShine - Malolos City. Tara, relax muna!

💅 THE SERVICES. They offer nail care and spa, hair cut, styling, color and treatments, basic facial, eyelash extensions and lift, lip pigmentation, eyebrow tattoo pati na threading.

𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗪𝗘 𝗔𝗩𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗗:
Cysteine hair treatment
Manicure
Eyelash extensions
Eyebrow threading

My hair's been feeling dull and limp in this weather, kaya nagpa-𝗰𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (from ₱999) ako kay Ms. Ronah to try and improve its health and texture. Habang nakababad yung hair treatment, Ms. Cat started on my nails. 𝗚𝗲𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗹 (₱150) muna as I had old gel, then 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗻𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗮𝗿𝘁 (from ₱499) na. I think she's one of the best nail artists I've worked with so far. Quite steady hands, keen eye for detail and obviously very experienced. I'll keep this nail set for as long as I could, ganun ko ka-love yung gawa nya.

P also got his 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲 (from ₱99) done while waiting for me. Right after my nails, blower na and flat iron to seal in the cysteine. Then before umuwi, I asked for their most natural-looking 𝗲𝘆𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (from ₱699), which Ms. Jedi did, and finally, eyebrow threading (₱149) by Ms. Ronah uli.

🛋️THE SPACE. Fairly spacious with multiple nail and salon chairs plus three treatment beds and waiting area na comfortable. They get full on weekends after lunch so your best bet is weekend mornings. Weekdays can be hit-and-miss on availability, so if you want to a sure spot, contact their FB page for appointment,

📍THE LOCATION. Along MacArthur highway yung building nila kaya madali lang matunton but it's a fairly busy spot so parking can be troublesome pag peak hours. No street parking at all, but there are several slots available for cars in front of the building.

♨️ MURANG FRESHLY BAKED PIZZA SA BALIWAG

Craving pizza ngayong maulan at sakto naman napadaan kami sa DelishCheese Dough Baliwag kaya tinry na rin namin yung ilan sa mga pizza flavors nila. Sino na nakatikim? ✋🏻

🍽THE FOOD. They offer freshly baked 12" family-style pizzas from cheesy classics to crowd favorites na siksik sa toppings, at may option pa for add-ons to fully customize your pizza order!

I think for us, 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝘇𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 (₱359) ang pinaka-bet namin because we love mozzarella cheese in pizza. Top two is the 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗲 (₱309) at dahil pwede palang magpa-add-on, nagpadagdag na rin ako ng pineapple (₱25). 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗻 (₱359) is our next bet, closely followed by 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗲 (₱209) and 𝗣𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗳 (₱309). Leftovers taste even better after re-heating in the oven!

👛THE PRICE. Low-mid prices na pasok sa budget so anytime mag-crave ng pizza nila, hindi iiyak ang wallet. From ₱209 lang meron ka nang 12" family-style pizza na freshly-prepared and baked pa! Priciest pizza nila is ₱439 lang din.

🛋️THE SPACE. Mostly takeaways sila, but there’s several stools and a counter where you can dine-in, if you like. I was allowed to peek behind the scenes so I can say that their good-sized preparation area is very clean and organized.

📍THE LOCATION. They have parking if you are waiting to pick up your order/s or want to dine in. Nasa Google Maps na kaya madali nyo lang sila matutunton, plus katabi lang nila halos yung Lin-Mer’s na institusyon na sa Baliwag, kaya di talaga kayo maliligaw. Aside from this Baliwag branch, meron din silang Guiguinto and Meycauayan branch, as well as 20+ branches around Pampanga, Zambales, Tarlac and Bataan.

🍽THE FOOD & DRINKS. They offer appetizers, salads, pastas, sandwiches, baked goods and rice meals, as well as coffee and non-coffee drinks kaya hindi kayo magugutom while working or studying.

We had their 𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘀 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱 (₱265) as starter na generous sa cheese at may tapa bites pa, 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱 (₱275) with brown beans, nachos and veggies, 𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗼 (₱320) sa pasta na very flavorful, 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝘁 (₱189) na very filling, 𝗮𝗹𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘀 (₱175) na crispy and sweet at 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁 (₱355) na hearty lunch item.

Bago sa menu nila itong 𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘂 𝗕𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗳𝗳 (₱250) na yes, dessert and drink in one na at perfect yung pagkatamis ng tiramisu sa tapang nung kape sa ilalim. The 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼 (₱185) is also new, and if you like citrusy flavors in your coffee, for you ito. Lastly we had 𝗯𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲 (₱160) that we also liked.

👛THE PRICE. Mid-range prices with drinks starting at ₱160 while their food fare ranges from ₱110-₱395. Since they are a co-working slash co-studying space, they have provisions for unlimited fresh brewed coffee and hot tea, super fast WiFi (up to 300mbps), and plenty of outlets at an hourly or day rate starting at just ₱60 per hour for students and ₱70 for the standard rate.

Conference room rate is ₱2,000 for 10pax for 4 hours, with an additional ₱100 per head and includes the use of a 55" TV, unli coffee and hot tea plus 5% discount from cafe orders.

🛋️THE SPACE. They livened up their space with modern tropical interiors kaya ang aliwalas at ang ganda ng space nila! They can accommodate up to 60pax (50pax sa main area then 10pax sa conference room if you want privacy from the main area). Malinis din yung comfort room nila, which is always a plus if you're staying long at a place.

📍THE LOCATION. Easily findable kasi nasa loob lang sila ng Cabanas sa Malolos at ang daming parking space kaya no problem din sa part na yan.

💭FINAL THOUGHTS. Still one of the best places to co-work or study in Bulacan if you want a quiet space na may food na rin. They are constantly making the place more cozy and friendly for guests so there's always something new to check out. Lagi din silang may workshops and classes every Saturday kaya if you've been wanting to join one, follow nyo yung page nila for monthly announcements!
