You know why I’m loud about my faith now? It’s because…
I started to see more of God’s grace, and He opened my eyes more. I cannot do this without the help of the individuals who have been instruments in my life—those who correct me when I can’t see what seems to be wrong.
Minsan, natatawa na lang ako sa mga pagkakamali ko because I’m experiencing the consequences of what I did. But then, God redeemed me in a way that I didn’t expect. Hays. Thank You so much, Lord. I couldn’t imagine where I would be without You, especially if I kept making the same mistakes.
Truly, we cannot and shouldn’t rely on our own strength, knowledge, and abilities to sustain ourselves because that’s impossible. But with a community that has God-reliance, not self-reliance, everything becomes possible.
And that’s why being in and serving at church, especially joining a discipleship group, has been such a blessing to me (I hope it is for you as well). Having people who will help you grow in your walk with the Lord, correct you when needed, and point you back to Christ is something that we should be grateful for.
I’m loud with my faith now because I’ve seen what God can do when I stop relying on myself and start relying on Him. 🤍
ps. shout out to my dgroup leader and my dgroup sisters! hehe love you all 🫶
