STAND UP. SPEAK OUT. STOP BULLYING.
Bullying is never a joke, nor it is a normal rite of passage. Whether it manifests through physical violence, malicious words, social exclusion, or cyberbullying, its impact runs deepโ€”leaving lasting scars on a student's mental health, confidence, and overall well-being. Every individual deserves a school environment where they feel safe, respected, and genuinely valued.
You can be a catalyst for change. Actively foster a safer campus by practicing the S.P.E.A.K. principle:

S โ€“ Stand firmly against bullying behavior.
P โ€“ Protect and defend the victim.
E โ€“ Encourage everyday acts of kindness.
A โ€“ Ask for immediate assistance from trusted adults or school authorities.
K โ€“ Keep speaking out to break the silence.

Together, let us build a community where kindness leads, respect thrives, and everyone belongs. Do not be a bystander. Report bullying. Support victims. Choose kindness.

Behind the Lens: The Raw Emotions of June 8

โ€‹They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and the raw snapshots from the June 8 return to OLSA tell a story of fresh starts and big dreams. Look closely at the frames capturing this morning's return: youโ€™ll see the wide eyes of new students adjusting to unfamiliar corridors, the enthusiastic waves of friends reuniting after a long break, and the focused expressions of learners listening to their advisers outline the semester ahead.

โ€‹The first day of school is always a beautiful chaos of finding the right seat, writing down new schedules, and setting goals. From the formal assembly at the general program to the quiet, candid interactions in individual classrooms, June 8 revealed the true heartbeat of our campus. We are back, we are ready, and these faces are the future of Our Lady of Sorrows Academy.

SWEAT, SMILES, AND SOLIDARITY: Our Lady of Sorrows Academy, Inc. Kicks Off Brigada Eskwela 2026!
There is a distinct kind of magic that happens when a community breathes as one.

As the morning sun climbed over Zone 4, Bacuyangan, Hinoba-an on June 1, 2026, the grounds of Our Lady of Sorrows Academy, Inc. (OLSA) didn't just open their gatesโ€”they opened their hearts. Under the powerful and timely theme, โ€œBayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman,โ€ the OLSA family proved that the Filipino spirit of communal unity is alive, well, and moving to a joyful beat

A Symphony of Service
The day, immortalized in the official event poster, wasn't just about paintbrushes and brooms; it was about laying down the foundation for the upcoming School Year 2026-2027. The energy was electric right from the get-go, mapping out a day dedicated entirely to student excellence and shared responsibility.
The morning unfolded through a meticulously planned Program Flow , moving seamlessly from solemnity to high-spirited action:

The Gathering: Early birds filled the registration lines at 6:45 AM, followed by a grounding opening prayer led by CMO Coordinator Mr. Troy T. Cordovez and the proud rendition of the Philippine National Anthem.

Words of Inspiration: School Principal Mrs. Jeana Mae C. Tuvilla warmly welcomed the volunteers, while School Director Rev. Fr. Romel P. Enar delivered a message reminding everyone of the deeper spiritual and communal purpose behind the day's sweat.

Rhythm and Purpose: Injecting a burst of pure enthusiasm, the SSAO Officers took to the green field for a dynamic dance intermissionโ€”bringing smiles, laughter, and high energy to the crowd.

Deploying the Workforce: With the goals clearly laid out by School Academic Coordinator Mr. John Paul L. Aplaon, Faculty League President Benjie T. Baga strategically assigned the eager volunteers to their designated stations.

From Ceremony to Reality
With the official ceremonial clean-up declared, the campus transformed into a buzzing hive of productivity. Parents, students, teachers, and local stakeholders rolled up their sleeves side-by-side, turning the Bayanihan theme from a mere slogan into a living, breathing reality. The event wrapped up with heartfelt closing remarks from Student Welfare Coordinator Mae Ann S. Sermona and a final documentation photo session, all smoothly guided by the day's emcee, Nerissa C. Sacayan.
When hands join to uplift education, the future brightens. Today, we didn't just clean classrooms; we built a sanctuary for dreams.
Thank you to all our selfless volunteers and partners! Together, we continue to move forward with purpose. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿซโœจ
