I never looked for them… they found me!
One of the biggest surprises in my content creator journey happened just recently.
Na-invite ako by a popular dating and visa assistance platform to become one of their partners. It’s a huge blessing because it’s another income stream to add to my regular New York-based remote job! 🙏
And yes… that’s me in the photo on our onboarding meeting today, business sa taas, pajama sa baba. 😂 Welcome to the glamorous world of remote work, where your upper half says, “I’m a professional,” pero yung lower half mo? “Wala akong balak lumabas ng bahay.” 🤣
The funny part? Hindi pa nga monetized ang page ko. Maliit pa siya. Walang milyon-milyong followers. Walang viral videos every week.
Pero because I stayed consistent with one specific niche (my life, my marriage, at lahat ng kalokohan at kwentong may kinalaman sa pagiging asawa ng isang AFAM) they found me.
And that reminded me of something na sana mas maraming creators ang malaman.
Don’t stress too much kung maliit pa ang earnings mo sa Facebook or YouTube. Sa totoo lang, maraming creators ang malaki ang kinikita sa partnerships, affiliate links, at commissions kaysa sa ad revenue.
Brands aren’t always looking for the biggest creators. They’re looking for the “right”creators.
Kaya the tighter your niche, the easier it is for companies to find you. Hindi mo na kailangan habulin ang brands… minsan sila pa ang hahanap sa’yo.
So don’t try to create content for everyone. Create content for “your” people.
You never know who’s watching…
Or who’s searching for someone exactly like you.
Curious kung anong platform ang nag-reach out sa’kin? 😉 Nasa bio ng lahat ng socials ko ang link, at naka-pin din sa first comment ng post na ’to.
