Tingog sa Kabataan: DFSSLG, SELG, YES-O, at BKD Election

Isinagawa ang halalan ng mga DFSSLG, SELG, YES O, at BKD sa Dibisyon ng Southern Leyte nitong ika-12 NG Marso, taong 2026 sa Provincial Capitol Gymnasium.

Kasama sa mga nakilahok ang mga ‘student leader’ ng Holy Rosary Academy of Hinunangan, Inc., na sina; Mhel John Nipa, HRA-SSLG President; Charleston Climaco, HRA-BKD President; at Airra Mae Arrieta, HRA-YES O President, kasama rin si G. Benjo Brua, bilang tagapayo ng mga organisasyon.

Isang karangalan na matagumpay na naihalal si Airra Mae Arrieta bilang Vice-president ng YES O sa boung Dibisyon ng Southern Leyte para sa taong 2026-2027.

Tagumpay at Husay: Ipinamalas ni Jenard Villanueva sa EVRAA 2026

Nagbigay ng malaking karangalan ang atletang si Jenard Villanueva, na kumatawan sa bandila ng Holy Rosary Academy, Inc., matapos niyang ipamalas ang kanyang angking talento at lakas sa ginanap na Eastern Visayas Regional Athletic Association Meet (EVRAAM) 2026 noong ika-3 ng Marso.

Nagpakitang-gilas si Villanueva sa larangan ng Athletics, kung saan matagumpay niyang nakuha ang unang puwesto at gintong medalya sa Shot Put, at ikatlong puwesto o bronseng medalya sa Discus Throw (Secondary Boys). Ang kanyang tagumpay ay patunay ng kanyang dedikasyon, pagsusumikap, at determinasyong maipakita ang pinakamahusay na kakayahan sa larangan ng palakasan.

Sa pamamagitan ng kanyang natamong tagumpay, hindi lamang niya ipinagmalaki ang kanyang sarili kundi pati na rin ang buong Holy Rosary Academy of Hinunangan, Inc., at ang komunidad ng mga Rosarian.

Ang kanyang dedikasyon, tiyaga, at sakripisyo ay magsisilbing inspirasyon sa kapwa mag-aaral na patuloy na magsikap at ipamalas ang kanilang mga kakayahan sa iba’t ibang larangan.

Muli, taos-pusong pagbati at pagpupugay sa iyong kahusayan, Jenard Villanueva! Patuloy mong dalhin ang karangalan at inspirasyon sa buong komunidad ng Rosarian.

Panghuling Pagsusulit, Kahandaan sa Susunod na Yugto

Naganap ang kahuli-hulihang pagsusulit ng mga mag-aaral sa ika-12 na baitang nitong ikatlo hanggang ikaapat ng Marso, taong 2026.

Ang nasabing pagsusulit ay ginanap sa gymnasium, kung saan ang apat na pangkat na kinabibilangan ng St. Bartholomew, St. Benedict, St. Bernard, at St. Bonaventure ay sabay-sabay na kumuha ng pagsusulit na nagsimula bandang ikawalo ng umaga.

Ito ay higit na mahalaga para sa kanila sapagkat ito ay magsisilbing sukatan ng kanilang mga natutuhan sa loob ng buong taon ng pag-aaral. Ito rin ang magsisilbing batayan ng kanilang kahandaan sa susunod na yugto ng kanilang akademikong paglalakbay, lalo na sa pagtahak sa kolehiyo.

‘Be One of Us, Be a Josephian!’: SJC, hinikayat ang ika-12 na baitang na tahakin ang BS Criminology

Nagsagawa ang Saint Joseph College of Maasin (SJC) ng isang ‘school campaign’ para sa mga mag-aaral ng ika-12 baitang noong ikalawa ng Marso, taong 2026, sa ikauna ng hapon na ginanap sa silid ng St. Benedict sa Holy Rosary Academy of Hinunangan, Inc., Senior High School Department,

Layunin ng naturang kampanya na hikayatin ang mga mag-aaral na kumuha ng kursong Bachelor of Science in Criminology sa SJC.
Ipinakilala ng mga kinatawan ng kolehiyo ang programa at ipinaliwanag ang mga oportunidad at benepisyo na maaaring makuha ng mga mag-aaral sa pagpili ng nasabing kurso.

Bahagi ng aktibidad na ito ng patuloy na pagsisikap ng paaralan na gabayan ang mga magsisipagtapos sa pagpili ng tamang kurso para sa kanilang kolehiyo. Sa pamamagitan ng mensaheng, “Be one of us, Be a Josephian!”, inimbitahan ng SJC ang mga mag-aaral na maging bahagi ng kanilang komunidad at maging mga propesyonal sa larangan ng kriminolohiya.

Dreaming Big at Holy Rosary Academy

Our Grade 10 and 12 students had a very special day exploring their future jobs. Successful guest speakers, including engineers, nurses, and accountants, shared insights about what it’s like to work in their fields.

The best part? Students came to school dressed up as what they want to be when they grow up! From white lab coats to hard hats, the gymnasium was filled with the leaders of tomorrow.

Ash Wednesday Marks a Call to Fasting and Renewal

On February 18, 2026, Rosarians gathered at St. Peter & Paul Parish Church to observe Ash Wednesday and begin the Lenten season. During the service, the priest reminded everyone that fasting and abstinence are not only about giving up food, but also about letting go of distractions that take us away from the Lord.

The celebration highlighted the importance of sanctity and the sacrifice of Jesus, as the priest marked each Rosarian with a cross on the forehead using ashes—a powerful symbol of faith, humility, and renewal.
