The confetti has settled on the runway, closing a vibrant, advocacy-filled run where equally passionate influencers polished the stage. As the search for Mx. IIT Influencer 2026 concludes, the final results reflect candidates who carried not just performance but purpose throughout the journey.

Representing the College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS), 𝗠𝘅. 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀 secured the title of 𝗠𝘅. 𝗜𝗜𝗧 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. Grounding his response in lived experience, he spoke not just as a student but as a working student—highlighting the shared vulnerabilities faced by those balancing academic and financial responsibilities. For Adonis, individual struggles do not exist in isolation; they can be voiced, shared, and transformed into collective concerns that communities can address together.

Anchored in this perspective, his advocacy underscored the importance of organizing and finding strength in community. Through initiatives such as Sugakod, he recognized that these experiences are not solitary but shared among many who seek both support and representation. Emphasizing the diverse yet interconnected nature of the MSU-IIT community, he pointed to the potential of collective action—where individuals, when brought together, can shape systems that respond to their realities.

Meanwhile, 𝗠𝘅. 𝗘𝗹𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗹 of the College of Education–Integrated Developmental School (CED-IDS) was crowned as 𝗠𝘅. 𝗜𝗜𝗧 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, with 𝗠𝘅. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗵 𝗞𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗼 of the College of Economics, Business and Accountancy (CEBA) earned the title of 𝗠𝘅. 𝗜𝗜𝗧 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

As the search concludes, the recognition given to Adonis underscores CASS’s continued presence in championing advocacies that center on lived realities—where influence is measured not just by visibility but by whose stories are brought forward.

Mx. Rich Adonis directed his own advocacy video with the goal to send an empowering message and showcase the numerous working students everywhere, in different circumstances, and various line of work.

Not just limited to the halls of CASS, but around MSU-IIT, in different colleges, and beyond the university walls. From the businesses to the services they offer, it manifests how these dignified individuals are great at transforming skills, passion, and determination, into instruments of survival. All while building their own textbook of teaching one's self discipline and perseverance.

With his commitment in representing the working student sector of MSU-IIT, Mx. Rich brought his vision of the Sugakod initiative to the Mx. platform to also encourage IITians to advocate for the cause as well.

𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.

“K A S I N A T I A N”

Daryl D. Alia’s masterpiece, “Quiet Bloom” spoke to me in a familiar language. When I landed my sight on the obra, the flowers and seeds on the canvas buried its radicle deep in my heart. I saw myself in the subtle stance of the blossoming dancer, and it reminded me about how life is such a journey of efflorescence and growth from experience.

To me, experience is a motion, a feeling, a miracle, a change. It is knowledge, skill, and a quintessence of survival and power. Experience gives us a new lens. A vision more than a pair, like an arachnid that has eight or none. Through experience, I have learned to embrace the loud “thud” of hardships that linger in silence. To vulnerably bloom in the open fields despite as seasons change. I persevere knowing that the movement and melody never stops. It taught me that in order to land a powerful sauté, I must bear the pain on the heel and the strain of air battling the walls of the passages of my chest.

My “dance” displays a vigorous tussle with life’s erratic rhythms and blows. I once viewed “withering” as failure but then I stood strong till the end and saw the spring after every drought in life. Each unfettered step and figure I perform is a panoply of emotions, memory, and talent. Each move only I can fully grasp its meaning and value, because there is experience in my performance. The experience is me, I am the experience.

I am the influencer I am today because I started living as the experience itself and curated it into my own craft and design. But Kasinatian is not a solo performance. It thrives vibrantly in an ecosystem where it is shared. Kasinatian is my parent, my lifeblood, and the pillar of my dreams. Kasinatian lives within the people I meet along the way. Kasinatian is my source of influence.

𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀.

Within a curated collection of 30 masterpieces from Espasyo Creative Hub and artists Anna Leah Sanson, Daryl D. Alia, and Revilla N. Carbonell-Noel, our Mx. IIT Influencer 2026 candidates embarked on a journey of self-reflection. Each was tasked with selecting a single painting that mirrored their personal truth, using the art as a medium to answer the profound question: “I am the influencer I am today because I am/was nurtured by…”

This activity transformed a pool of diverse artworks into a mirror for the candidates’ own growth. Whether it was a piece that spoke of silent strength, a burst of color representing community, or a complex abstract echoing personal transformation, each choice was a window into the people and experiences that have watered the seeds of their advocacy.

By connecting their personal narratives to these creative works, our college representatives are learning that true influence is rooted in authenticity. They aren't just faces of a pageant, they are the result of a lifelong nurturing process, now ready to bloom in their own right.

𝗖𝗗𝗜 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 | In no particular order, the 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱-𝗗𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 have been selected after an intense and insightful round, where they showcased their advocacies in front of a distinguished panel. Each contestant was put to the test with tough questions and a challenging evaluation process, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁.

𝗦𝗨𝗚𝗢𝗗 𝗞𝗔𝗥𝗢𝗡 𝗨𝗚 𝗦𝗔 𝗨𝗠𝗔𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗧.

More than just an advocacy, 𝗦𝗨𝗚𝗔𝗞𝗢𝗗, spearheaded by Mx. CASS Influencer ‘26, 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀, continues to take strides in recognizing, protecting and empowering working students. This was evident during its outreach forum held last March 25, 2026, at the CASS New Building, Room E55, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM.

The program formally opened with an introduction from Mx. CASS Influencer ’26, followed by interactive activities through “Makig-halubilo” to build rapport among the working students from different colleges in the institution. With 𝗠𝘀. 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗙𝗲 𝗢. 𝗘𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 from the Iligan City Youth Development Office (ICDYO) as the resource speaker, the discussion highlighted the importance of turning initiative into action, as she resonated with the lived experiences of the participants.

To clearly reach the underrepresented community, the program also facilitated issue mapping and set directions toward a policy dialogue.

Through this 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺, this initiative calls for continued support and a stronger collective voice—not only from our candidate, but from all of us—for our fellow students who balance academic pursuits while working to support themselves and others, both in the present and for their future.

Mx. CASS Influencer Rich Jasper Adonis continues to lead with heart as he was personally invited by the Career Center for a meaningful dialogue with Director Charlane N. Gabutan, RPm—a testament to the strength and relevance of his advocacy.

The discussion centered on the Career Center’s keen interest in the 𝗦𝗨𝗚𝗔𝗞𝗢𝗗 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 and its potential to support working students. With a shared commitment to student welfare, the conversation opened doors for collaboration, highlighting the office’s willingness to extend guidance and assistance in advancing the advocacy.

This visit reflects more than dialogue—it signals a growing partnership grounded in support, purpose, and the pursuit of opportunities for working students.

Behind closed doors, the conversation for Mx. IIT Influencer ’26 takes a deeper turn. While the search evaluates readiness and perspective, Mx. Rich Jasper Adonis redefined preparedness by appearing not in corporate attire, but in his part-time work uniform.

This wasn't just a style choice—it was a statement. Representing the heart of a working student, Mx. CASS used the interview to champion the SUGAKOD Initiative. This advocacy aims to recognize, protect, and empower those who navigate the daily grind of balancing labor with the demands of academics.

In a room where clarity of thought is key, Rich proved that authenticity often wears the clothes of hard work.
