I don’t even know how to share my heart around ‘Shout to the Lord’. I wrote it quickly .. while crying out to God about our future.. just saying that no matter what, we will follow Him. I was young in age and young in God, had two gorgeous little girls, and life was simple and blossoming. STTL changed things around us. But the things that really matter never changed and never will. That God is faithful and attentive to our prayers is one thing I know for sure.. that NOTHING compares to the promise I have in Jesus.

This song really speaks my heart, living our lives in honour of a risen King, all victorious and all triumphant!! In Hebrews 2;9 it says ‘But we see Jesus . . . crowned with glory and honour; that He by the grace of God should taste death for every man”.

Death could not hold Jesus down. Resurrection life was on the way, preparing the greatest triumph in history and eternally. Be encouraged today my friend, the final victory will always belong to the Lord.
