๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ | Laro ng Lahi Kicks Off as Part of Intramural '26 at USA
The Laro ng Lahi took place at the USA Field and Grandstand as part of the Intramurals 2026 sports event, gathering participants from various departments for competitive traditional Filipino games this afternoon, 3 p.m.
The competition features Palo Sebo, Sack Race, Tug of War, and Kadang Kadang. It started with Palo Sebo, which required one participant per department, with players asked to remove their top clothing as part of the game rules.
For Palo Sebo, the first match was between the Senior High School (SHS) Department versus the College of Liberal Arts, Sciences, and Education (CLASE). However, game was later stopped and did not continue due to its prolonged duration.
The program then proceeded to the other traditional games. Despite being held simultaneously, the Tug of War and Sack Race were also discontinued due to sudden rain and bad weather conditions. The following results were recorded before the games were halted:
