Leave your hometown now and go to a different city far from home. People who saw your childhood will never support you. Your family will see you as competition, but strangers will see your potential. I'm now more selective about who I surround myself with, choosing people who positively influence me and support my mental well-being. While others' opinions shouldn't dictate our lives, they can still have an impact. I appreciate constructive criticism and corrections, as they help me grow and improve. After all, being corrected is a form of discipline that can shape our behavior.

Psychology says that when someone constantly brings up your past mistakes, they're not trying to help you grow; they're trying to keep you small. Real people who love you correct you once and move forward; they dont use your wounds as weapons. If someone in your life keeps reminding you of who you were, they're afraid of who you're becoming.
