Father’s Day reminder:
You may not have a rich father, but at least he is not always angry. At least he tries his best to provide with what he has. That already means a lot.
He comes home tired, but he still brings food. He still checks on you. He still shows up.
Like Gwan-Sik in When Life Gives You Tangerines, he did not have much, but he gave everything he could. He stayed kind. He stayed present.
Some fathers do not say “I love you” out loud, but they show it in small, quiet ways.
They wake up early. They work all day. They carry the weight so their kids do not have to.
That is what it means to be a provider. That is what makes them a blessing.
And if you have a dad like that, you are not poor.
You are loved. You are lucky. You are rich in all the ways that matter.
Happy Father’s Day to the fathers who keep showing up.
PRAYER:
Lord, bless every father who quietly provides for his family. Give him strength when he is tired, peace when life feels heavy, and remind him that his sacrifices are seen.
Bless his home, protect his heart, and reward the love he shows in small, quiet ways.
Amen. 🙇🏻🤍
